2:03 I wanted to say "well, actually..." but then I remembered, that Disney threw the old canon away. So there was a period where the Interdictor class wasn't canon. Really liked their ability to prevent enemies from retreating back in Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption.

Interdictions have been in SW lore for years, since the Thrawn trilogy (yes not Disney canon but their expulsion of most EU canon is ludicrous anyway)

I've installed the first mod you're talking about to get the TI-fighters and so on, but as I load up a new game I just have some standard, ugly ships.. Do the Star Wars ships not come until later in the game through tech, or what? I have chosen the even galactic empire and so on ..
it will be nice if you start a new ironman campagne with the Star Wars - A Galaxy Divided ! and do it slowly so we can enjoy ever single moment ! and especialy space battles

there is a seperate mod for the Executor Star Destroyer if someone hasnt already metioned it
how did you get the blaster bolts to be so big? When I played with the mod, they were pretty small, and hard to see at times.
Also, you can use the empire/rebel ships without picking the event factions, it just makes the ships the vanilla classes instead of the unique mod classes.
I'm not certain but it appears if you have the Galaxy Divided mod loaded and start a regular map, i.e. 1000 stars instead of the scripted one, your border growth is quite slow for colonies. Outpost are the same as far as I could tell. This presents an interesting game play.

If future DLC gives more nuace to the various ethics it would be awesome to have the two cults; Imperial and Mechanicus; operating in your empire.
You can already build (sorta) Space Marine armies.
You can kinda do the two cults if you used the internal factions system.

I suppose it'd be possible, but wouldn't the only way to win be to essentailly get everyone in a federation and fight the reapers? Assuming they're accurate... not even that alone would make you win.
Well yeah that's kinda why it's called the Endgame Crisis. You don't necessarily have to win, and many people don't, even when they spend their entire game preparing. Although to make it easier I supposed Awakened Empires could be modded to Leviathans with the same stats but a more powerful psionic weapon.

I`ve never heard of "Stellaris" but am a huge fan of Star Wars and RTS games (or whatever this game is). Is it worth it buying the game for 40€?

technically the interdictor has been around for a while, just not really gone past the prototype (it was in the game empire at war which is also a lucas arts brand) if they actually built anything more after those events is left up to the viewers, otherwise its been around long before rebels came onto the scene
+Rikki Richardson ye, though the question is canon here really. As far as I know the first appearance of it was in Rebels when taking into account Disney canon. It was in the comics in the 80's and 90's.
well...yeah making its "visual" appearance it tells the story of how it came about in that one episode, kinda like how it was because of the malevolence is the reason why the empire got the BF ships like the executer and the eclipse, tho not many would know there was plans for another ship called the sovereign class SSD, curiously the eclipse and the sovereign would fit in well into this game because of the (x) weapon category so having a spinal mount gun would work...but as you did rightfully say about size issues, guess its just a block that has to be worked around i guess
+ASpec just been taking a look at the wookiepedia and there has been many accounts on the interdictors starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Immobilizer_418_cruiser alot of them was converted from vindicators but they wasnt highly used in battle against the rebels, mostly servicing as picket/blockade ships according to one account even han solo had an encounter with one, but thanks to disney i think most accounts from book and comics are almost null and void at this point
19 kilometres? To my knowledge the executor class star dreadnought was only 12 km long and basically 12 times longer than regular ISDs.
nope, original canon - what Disney now calls legends - has the executor at 19 km. maybe Disney whitewashed it too hot and it shrunk? xD

I like to get doomsday weapons. theres the avatar project in that which blows up planets. works well with it.
if it gives it to me on a plate then yes. ut the avatar projects requires for you to do alot of work in order to get it and then defend it while it travels to planets. so it's balanced

You get some Executor Super Star Destroyer when you use the New Ship Classes & More v3.0 with Empire ships. It is your flagship. It has the some for republic, old republic, and Sith empire. Would recommended New Ship Classes & More v3.0 if you plan to play a star wars game. The best part with this. You can play any race you want and have the empire ships. As they are not locked behind an event. As well as all the IA gets the New Ship Classes as well. So you are not op as hell. As every empire can build the same ships. You just have better looking ships. :P

The Executor Class Destroyer might be an option as a titan class ship with the upcoming DLC.

Interdictors have always been canon. Whether it be the EU (Yes), or Disney (Boo), it has always been around. It wasn't shown in the movies as it wasn't built in the same numbers as say the ISD1.

i know this does not pertain to the video, i have a non steam version of stellaris and i downloaded the " a galaxy divided" mod, installed it exactly how i installed all my other mods...yet when i go into game its all vanilla..... has anybody else had this problem and figured it out? if so can you leave me a line the developers have not responded to any of my crys for help. thanks in advance
the empire mod keeps cucking me, the minite I unlock curiser I get the standard cursier hulls not the modded ones (even when I unlock the starport with the GA mod tags on it) I have to manually chest in the ship tech every time and I have tried 0 other mods and the recommended stuff in the steam workshop comments

I wish i got the prethoryn scourge some times. Out of the dozen or so games i have played I have only gotten them twice. !st was when the game first game out and they where broken and didnt work. The second they only had one fleet so it was over in just one battle :/. I seem to only get the unbidden now.

For me, Star Wars isn't Star Wars without the Expanded Universe.
Why haven't we relieved a total conversion mod for the empire era or clone war era? That's the stuff we care about.
