Hey there! I didn't realize I hadn't put the English translation for the title :0 It means 'bitter' in this instance and is pronounced 'sseo' stressing on the 's'. Hope that answers your question :) This song is also on his SoundCloud.
No hate honestly just a question, The line "넌너무써 내마음엔" how does it translate to "you're too bitter for my heart" becuz I put it in Google translate & it said "you're so in my heart" /"you write so much in my heart" now of course Google translate is not reliable 💀 I'm kinda trying to learn Korean that's y I'm asking & am curious 넌너 = you 써 = write (or so Google says idk if it has another translation) 내마음엔 = my heart That's all I know or managed to find out at least Could u please explain to me where bitter came from? Does 써 also translate to bitter? Could u just like break it down the translation? I honestly just want to learn that's all I hope Im not coming off as rude or hating 😭
넌 = you 너무 = too much/very 써 = bitter The verb 쓰다 means to write or to use and I think that’s why google told you that. 쓰라리다 (adjective form) = a bitter/painful feeling 마음= heart. But in Korean 마음 has a lot more meaning than simply heart 마음엔 = in my heart, (for my heart) I hope this helps, i am only a beginner Korean language learner. But I love language stuff like this 😊 also ideadead is a wonderful and talented artist 💕
The song starts with him saying that even if he pours (sweet) syrup the taste is too bitter as in to say that her love for him is bitter even if he tries to lesson its bitterness. The lyrics of the chorus is “ you are too bitter for my heart” basically that she is too bitter and cold for him and loving her hurts him because he is too sensitive and loves her, but she doesn’t react the same way.
I have also made a lyric video for his other song: Ariel
