Your so kind with all the cows... Poor Puppies why don't they have a pile of shavings to sleep in... ??? You sure are a jack of all trades... Love watching your movies... God Bless you and all...
Curtis Schrock if you think Holsteins can smell a open gate. Work with sheep. They can find a hole in the fences that is over grown with 4 feet of grass and bushes and they find it funny to go to the furthest away and most awkward part of the field to die for some strange reason
You are my new favorite guy to watch. I grew up on a big farm similar to this and it makes me want to quit all this nonsense and go back to chickens and cows, pigs and sheep, not so much. I miss tractor work the most.
Where you replaced the master link is an adjuster. Your chain will be short now but when you replace it run that nut a half an inch from the end and hook the chain up. As it loosens take that nut in and it will keep it nice and tight.
Hi. I am farmer in France. I follow your channel for several week and i really like it. One day if you have the time, i really interrest to unterstand how work the food distribution along the trough for your heifers. I never see that before and it seems to be simple and effective. Thanks again for your vidéos.
That brush thing for cows looks awesome I was going to say something on another video but forgot. I have seen other videos of cows using they seem to love it. Longer videos, please!
Eric nice video chocolate milk now that saying oh yeah milk makes your body grow lol nice puppies and feeding the heifers and tough the chain looked as if had to much slack in before you tighten it up.
I have found out the hard way with my disc mower to check the gear box oil often. I have had a seal leak on the inside of the cutter bar and drain all of the oil out off the box, destroying on of the boxes. It is a costly mistake if that happens
How does that feed distribution system work? How does it know how much feed to drop in each spot? Puppies are adorable.! You should get Mountain Dew to sponsor you.
sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid lost the login password. I would love any tips you can offer me
@Devin Lyle I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Was watching Our Wyoming Life yesterday on a livestream and Mike was feeding pre-calf pasture cows a large pellet feed to increase milk production before calving, do you feed anything that would increase milk production that way? I have sheep lambing all the time and they don't run out of milk but it might help when they have twins. Thanks, great video!
We balance our feed ration to make lots of milk. They make more milk when they are fed more nutrient-dense feeds like shelled corn and soybeans. Have to find a healthy balance of forage and grain.
Loving the channel, great job. Not sure how you have time for everything in your day and still find time to edit and post great videos. BTW, how many head are on the farm? If you have answered this already I apologize.
Right on man . Very cool . I love the peacefulness . The most stressful part was a couple healthy Holsteins slipped out and tried to make a run for it at 4 mph lol I can't believe that litter of pups ! That's a lot or is it Typical for that breed ? I'm guessing Chocolate Labradors ? Cheers ! With Brown milk 😂
Again one of my favorite drinks. Love the gates was this your Dads idea or a kit you can get. Love the pups thanks for the peek. I was wondering what was behind the door. Cows , what a cool set up. Thanks for the video
Not afraid to tackle anything. I like that. Tight squeezes with that grain cart, good thing you don.t drink booze....LOL I love that Chocolate milk, but when it is 100 degrees outside and you have been working in the sun, probably not the best choice...>LOL Bulldog
Thanks for the video you have a very nice free stall. What was the last thing you cut with that nh mower. To me it looks like a cereal crop. I’m from Australia and we cut oats. I started the day running the mower at 500 finished at 470 as the gunk built up on the cutter bar
May I ask how many cows you guys milk on any given day, and how many times a day do you milk? I worked for 2 dairy farms when I was a kid. One had 101 cows, two times a day in a stanchion barn. Each cow was named and had assigned stalls. (really sucked for me because I never learned their names or stall assignments. lol) The other was 136 cows, 6 cow/side parlor, both farms milked 2 times a day.
11-12 puppies!!!! omg!!! well, hope your not keeping them all, maybe 1 or 2??? how about saving your hands? good protective gloves so you don't get cuts or pinched???
@@patrickstynes9676 because the cows can choose to lay in a stall or walk up and eat. It's different than the traditional tie stall barn where the cows are chained into their own stall.
You are right, it was a great view of the cows from the top!! The pups looked comfy all huddled together so cute!! Thanks Great Video 🐄
Thank you for showing more of what you do on the farm, and how you fix things that not working right. And your puppies are so cute.

That grain cart gives you a good workout. All that walking. Like you said, nice view in the barn. My wife sure likes your pups. Nice vid.

Great video! 👍👍
ok, I thought I wanted a cow or calf but I see now it's more than just owning one or some. You are multi talented.
Imagine if it was a Mountain Dew can jamming the track on the scissor gate😂

Nicely done. Hopefully we will be mowing before you know it!!
Yes I'm looking forward to it!

Do you milk the newly fresh cows separate to collect the colostrum?
Hey man - loving the videos! Why are your cubicles mounted upside down???
Thanks! Only have them that way in the first calf heifer group because they're smaller. It helps keep them straighter in the stalls
Gorgeous puppies 😍
OMG your puppies are soooooo cute!
Nice looking puppies. They looked at you like why are you disturbing us human?
I can't find a gate like that anywhere! Where did you get it? Or did you make it yourselves?

Great video
Pulling out the tombstone
Thats one of the things that sold me on a john deere moco was that the cutter bar is one big oil bath so you only have to check it one place
That would be nice. The advantage of separate gearboxes though is that if one goes bad you don't have to change the whole bar

Thank! They are labradoodle pups and it's pretty common to have big litters.
Great video m8te and love those puppies they looked like what my Australian farm Border Collie X Keopie looked like when he was a few weeks old;)
I love puppies they need hugs n kisses
Good work, my friend
