Ironically, I just received my Kiwi Ears Punch in the mail today. 😆 I haven't even had a chance to listen to it yet but I'm confident I won't be be disappointed. 🙂 I grabbed it early on in the Ali Chinese New Year sales. The Mega5 EST Bass+ is still a consideration for the future (along with Fatfreq Scarlet Mini, ISN EST50, and Symphonium Titan) but I've met my buying quota for now. 💸 Thank you for another outstanding review, Omar! 👍
Really interested how other bass focused budget IEM sets will compare to these in the year to come! The Elua was close, but maybe we can get a real budget dupe in 2025!
looking forward for your review on the Deuce. I have the SM4 & the Deuce. lately i've been enjoying the Deuce more. gonna try the impedance adapter from the Deuce on the SM4
For me this is the “too much of a good thing” case. If only it had a switch to tone the bass a little (ideally matching the peak in the upper mids) it would really be something to save up for. Great review Amigo! 👍😁
@ every business wants more sales and ultimately higher profits. As things stand they’ve cornered themselves in a strange part of the iem market - overemphasized bass, recessed vocal/mid range and balanced treble. Normally entry level audiophiles are looking for this kind of sound signature, but they rarely enter the hobby at a +$400. With a couple impedance switches they could’ve tripled or quadrupled their target audience. I’m not saying people aren’t going to buy it, I’m saying a lot more could’ve. It’s like going to a restaurant and they’ll serve you only if you can finish an extra large portion.
As someone with the Deuce and the OG Mega5EST and a load of fixed and adjustable impedance adapters, do I need another bassy iem? ... I mean who really neeeeds an iem anyway 😅😅
@@AudioAmigoReviews I've heard a few people recommend the Divinus. As soon as Linsoul gets around to my next shipment, I'll be getting in some Spinfit W1 that I wanted to test.
@@thaflybear Switching back and forth was a little jarring, but the sound was quite nice. The mids and highs were allowed to shine more. So yeah, I’d say the little details are more audible and forward than they were before.
@@absurddude1 I have a Pula PA02. I like it, but I think it’s a little overhyped. It’s a good set, especially when it’s on sale. I’ll try and do a fast review for it.

Are they any good ?
I would have called that coincidental, rather than ironic.
@@paulgalThey are if you like bass. 😁
@@ReverendDr.Thomaseh, close enough for government work as we say. 😉
@@_-Z- I like bass but how much bass are we talking ? Are they detailed ?
Bought the punch for 320 bcz of your review, can’t wait!
Nice buy!
So thorough and thoughtful, gracias Amigo!

Another great video. Thanks for the breakdown. Really helps with future purchases
Mark this day on the calendar as the day when Audio Amigo used MCR in a review 😂 - great review and music examples as always
Such a detailed review, thanks for the advice to add a 30ohm adapter to the sm4.
@@AronAddams7 it’s wild. Completely changes the character of the IEM.
Thank you for reminding me to order a 30Ohm impedence adapter, Aron!

Great review
I think I’ll get Mega 5 bass + and get ducbloke Peqing
Mega5Bass review drops tomorrow, same time :)

This IEM is not for people that want to reduce bass.

Great Review, have you ever listened to any Bollywood Songs?
I have the soundtracks to "Lagaan" and "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" on my testing tracks, but I don't have much experience with the genre.
Nice.
I just picked up the Blon X HBB Z300 - I got the baby bass! 😅

Does it take a neutral eq curve well? It's the cheapest est set and if it takes eq well it'd be a banger in value
@@thaflybear I EQed the Punch to match the Truthear Hexa and had 0 issues with distortion and clipping. The Punch EQs very well.

@AudioAmigoReviews i got one Pre owned for like $85 ig its a good deal
@ yep. At anything $110 or under it’s a fantastic deal
This at ~$350 vs a Tea Pro at ~$300?
@@VyPR78 I haven’t tried the Tea Pro yet, so I can’t say. Hopefully I get one in soon.
depends on what you do with the IEM and what you like. so i don't think there is a definitive answer to that
endgame for bassheads with good mids and high. Deuce more bass , less detail
@@blacktrain7048 Yep! You got it. Deuce is cleaner in terms of mids and vocals. But you lose out on some details.
@AudioAmigoReviews what tips you prefer on punch ?
@@blacktrain7048 I use Spinfit CP145s. But if you wanna cut bass and boost treble, Tangzu Sancai Widebore or TRI Clarions are good choices
