"I've had been abusing Lysithea a lot"
The F.B.I would like to have a talk with you
Sounds like they’re a part of TWSITD
Thanks for having me on. Human interaction is a good feeling!
Interacting with people are for nerds. True chads live the NEET life and like it!
I don't subscribe to many people either, so I guess I understand how it can flood a feed, but let me say this... I fucking LOVE let's plays! I have absolutely no idea why, but especially Fire Emblem! I saw the Golden Deer playthrough between you and Mangs, and I'd definitely watch one of yours just for your take on things as you go
interacting with doggos is more fun tbh
Human interaction? What's that?
I am glad you started experimenting with skill builds since the beginning of the game. You started to experiment and do strategies based off the fact maddening is crazy with AS. I remember when you did tier list in the beginning and I thought "some of the skills that could be great for maddening". And you since then kept experimenting to create awesome skill builds that benefit the team.
Dancer Sylvain is amazing... nothing funnier than him running around and dancing for Felix.
You are a person of taste. That's exactly what I did on my first Blue Lions run (which was my first route)
Annette has Recover too and she was great as a War Cleric front liner. With her Axe proficiency and Crit Magic spells she fits the mix fighter as well.
All I see is 4 rally skills and aura gauntlets
blank blank pretty much but she’s still great to use
Dark Flier Rallybot FTW
That actually sounds great.
I wanted to do that so i can have a good rallybot that can be a mixed fighter but I couldn’t recruit her in time for timeskip
Okay hear me out... Dark Flier Marianne and Valkyrie Lysithea are so amazing for so many reasons. Super canto with 6 range magic spells is stupid and shouldn’t be allowed to happen, but Lysithea can make it happen. Hapi can get 7 range though with Thyrsus, S rank dark magic, Valkyrie, and her 3 range Death spell. Lysithea will have higher speed, magic, and gambits, but Hapi has a much more balanced stat spread and she gets Banshee and Death. They both get Warp too.
Ok actually though this is so true. I just finished a blue lions run with Lysithea as a Valkyrie and it was the best decision I ever made. 6 range is crazy. Make your Lysithea a Valkyrie kiddos!
@@JoseSanchez-cc4wn and I thought thyrsus was broken on its own...
The Valkyrie Class has almost as much magic as a Gremory or Dark Bishop.
okay but dark flier lysithea imo is where it’s at
You know we are getting informative content when we hear Serious Choopie
I’m doing a randomized class run on CF right now and it’s been pretty hilarious so far. My best unit besides Byleth and Edelgard is fricking Ferdinand as a Mage rn (hes going to Warlock). He’s got a 20% magic growth but he’s gotten magic like every other level for me so far. I don’t remember the exact numbers rn but I know with magic+2 his magic is one higher than his strength as of now. Edit: I just checked again, I’m on chapter 12 and he has 17 strength and 22 magic. For reference rn he’s tied with Hubert at 22, Linhardt has 19 and Dorothea has 24
“try both of them, you’re guaranteed for one of them to not work”
*hides away my Silver Snow run where both of them were some of my strongest units*
Most units who don't have an affinity for Faith get Recover, likely to allow them to be effective if, for some reason, you went that deep into faith with them. Hubert gets Recover, and that saved me a number of times during my Crimson Flower Maddening (he was also my dancer due to awful stat gains, so he always had something to do).
There's actually a down side to flying unit : the battalion roaster they have access to is really limited, so they require a lot of investment
Yuri : Dancer.
Sword Prowess 5, Sword Avo, Spd+2, Special Dance, Axebreaker.
Swap, Sword Dance, Windsweep.
Fetters of Dromi.
Dealt almost no damage but would just dance then move into enemy range and dodge everything. Amazing unit.
As for 9:35, Wyvern Rider and Dark Flier do not come with Avoid +10. Every other flight class does
Claudes classes don’t either unfortunately
Two great fire emblem UA-camrs with great information, good video you two👍.
I’m gonna throw this here for a defensive Brawler build: Brawling Prowess Lv. 5, Brawl Avoid +20 (War Monk), Tomebreaker, Quick Riposte, Deathblow. For use against mages.
You guys should do this again! It’s cool to hear about builds you guys have actually used in playthroughs. Obviously there are meta picks, but a lot of these were a cool balance, and you were able to go super in detail. 10/10
With warmonk out (and having a similar statline to enlightened one) I was thinking about having Male Byleth speccing into warmaster for qr while obtaining fist and white magic avoid before switching back into enlightened one.
I had ignatz as a debuff unit for my maddening mode silver snow run. Here it is
Hit plus 20
Poison strike
Seal strength
Bow Prowess
Bow Crit
And I had him excessively use break shot
Genius
3:10 luckiest Lysithea ever!!!

Wyvern lord hilda
Falcon knight leonie

All the routes have such similar end classes
@@ebicbarton Yes, at least two flying units, two magic users, a main healer, and a sniper (for spamming haunting volley), or a bow knight (if you prefer more range and movement)
oh, it is also necessary to including a dancer in your army, especially in maddening mode.
Did you mean to say Gremory Lysithea?
You really do like Wyvern Lord, huh?
Those pegasus knights are no joke... silver snow on maddening is full of them. They will ruin your day faster than you can say, "look at all those miracle procs"...
I LOVE CHAZ !! And nothing needed more for this game than an endgame build guide !!
Chaz is pretty rude and hypocritical
@@pasturelgeorge9756 okay? Get bent.
@@AndersonWave17 no thanks
My Lysithea got first place in kills on my Golden Deer run because my Flayn Dancer was surgically attached to her so she sniped two enemies every turn.
Don't put that image in my head
@@AkameGaKillfan777 imagine flayn attached to Lysithia's back with stitches, constantly kicking and cheering with little care for anything
@@ensemble3647 STOP
Boy am I writing fanfiction about this
Lysithea is the second best unit in Vanilla Houses and the best unit in DLC Houses!
With that out of the way, I love Chaz's willingness to experiment, and he's given new life to a lot of units and builds that are easy to overlook. White magic avoid Byleth really can save your ass against those thieves if you're not prepared, and janky units like Lorenz are very easy to ignore until you see Chaz promote this weird little noble man. There's a lot of potential for creativity that doesn't keep using the same characters and build routes over and over again. Show me the wyvern Annettes, the offensive Mariannes. The moment you're done experimenting is the moment Three Houses no longer has appeal. And frankly, with how new the game is, I suspect there's still a lot of room to innovate and improve.
Thanks for the content I just started FE3H and you and Chaz have played a big part in my experience
What are the special things to consider on each route? As in, like how there are a lot of mixed builded enemies late game in Blue Lions?
Azure the Scale Tipper Great Knights, Mortal Savants,Gremory, and Dark knights.
Destruidor Dos Sonhos Would you care to elaborate?
Azure the Scale Tipper these are the mixed build enemies. And there is a lot of then.
I'd say its gambits. With all the ranged enemies on Blue Lions around the end you need a way to block and counter them (so like Ashes and Dust + Indech + Stride)
The last map of Silver Snow is 1-turnable on easy mode, I use my save on that map in order to check out S-rank endings
You can do it on Maddening too, but it's less consistent.
@@bell.with.one.e link? i would like to see that.
WHAT!?! I've been doing that these past few days!
I only discovered this on my most recent maddening playthrough, but Dimitri is the only character, as far as I know, to have both Battalion Vantage and Battalion Wrath. Give him a damaged Lion corps with the +15 crit, a killer lance, lance crit+10 and those two skills along with his personal and alert stance+, and not only will he be a dodge tank from turn one on every map, he will also have a 100% chance to crit and OHKO everything he touches...on Maddening with no NG+.
For Lysithea, I put her into Valkyrie and kept her there the whole game. She had Dark Magic +1, Fiendish Blow, Reason Level 5, Uncanny Blow, and then Movement +1. I gave her the Thyrsus as well, and she was unstoppable. Amazing, amazing.
My fave end game Maddening Built :
1. Paladin Hubert
2. Pegasus knight Mariane
3. Gremory Annette
4. Magic Bow Knight Lorenz (with poison strike)
5. Warrior Petra with Knuckle
sword avoid Ferdinand is awesome
I am Ferdinand Von *You're too slow!*
You all mock my Ingrid, but she's a monster. Her strength at the end of my run was 45. Sword was because of Wo Dao. She has darting/deathblow so she's amazing on both player and enemy phase. And Wyvern Lords are a meme. And I enjoy the meme. Lol
to be fair that's just your experience. can't really make a good argument for 35% str growth
@@mars3725 You're not wrong. I got really lucky on my last playthrough. Everyone (except Byleth) had some great growths.
She worked out just fine for me without the help of deathblow. Good lances, darting blow, and battalion desperation worked wonders
I just did Dark Flier Ingrid. She was my fastest Dark Flier between her, Flayn, and Constance. She would kill pretty much everything with those fast double Thorons and Blizzards
This is a meme but I made Ingrid a war monk. She has physic and seraphim + thoron for magic chip or can quad enemies with gauntlets. Its honestly useful. She also is good with gambits, early game she is clutch due to her higher reliability with gambits.
Rocking Fortress knight Turbo-Hilda (with chalice and +3 MV) and...it's satisfying. 49 defense, 39 res, 30 speed. It's glorious.
My current lysithea is a valkerie for mov, dark range and white range+1, has thyrsius because honestly no one else can use it as well as the player phase nuke can. Dark range +1, fiendish blow, dark lvl5, white lvl5, and mag+2
I also don't remember church route all too well. I just kind of assassinated rhea.
I've always been torn on Marianne because there is Dark Flier or Bishop. I did do dancer and she is good with the class because of her hero's relic sword and sword avoid +20. Also for what it's worth Marianne gets Battalion Renewal (I doubt it does much for her though). Dark Flier though is enticing because of the Fiendish Blow + Bow Breaker + Alert Stance combo which effectively makes them almost arrow proof.
I'm tempted to do Holy Knight Marianne since she can ride around and go for Fiendish Blow + Frozen Lance and do a nice chunk of damage too. Plus Aura having only 3 uses can only be situational too. I wish Holy Knights had 2x white magic instead of terrain resist or would that make them better (or worse) than they have any right to be.
That bow breaker dark flyer combo is pretty fantastic. I've done the Holy Knight Marrianne build, it was a lot of fun and she's really cool, but I felt like it didn't contribute much more to my team than Bishop. But on easier difficulties it can be pretty fun when you can choose to just do whatever you want.
@@nevets2371 That's good to note. She was always the one I've had some difficulty figuring out on who she should be. But other than that, I've felt that everyone else in GD is pretty straight forward
Steven Stotts if you recruit Mercedes, (which you should probably always do tbh, she’s the best healer in the entire game) Marianne gets to focus more on being a hybrid unit, with good spells, a decent relic, and a strength in everything you could ever want from a Holy Knight.
Seeing this video makes me feel more comfortable bout my first maddening run. I hear so many people say to endlessly farm for certain mastered abilities like Hit +20 and stuff that's way out of line for character progression. And it looks like you don't really need that.
You should definitely farm death/Fiendish blow on all your physical/ magic units imo. Really saves you on player phase
@@vishuprathikanti9352 you usually don't really have to go much out the way for those anyway.
So i built Ashe to chip a lotta damage with poison strike and deadeye but than I discovered lethality, it isn’t a great skill on it self cause of the low activation rate but that skill activates on dex and Ashe has a lotta dex so i trained him on assassin and now he kill a lot more, it’s actually really nice to have and the skill activates 0.25 x dex and my Ashe has like 40 dex so he always has a 10% to one shot any enemy, this mixed with hunter volley is amazing
Leonie as a bow knight is one of my best and most trust worthy troops she critical hits everything with a bow training bows have never been so deadly in other hands
I made a crit petra in my Golden Deer Hard mode (didnt try it on maddening). She was a wyvern lord who rocked vantage, axe crit, alert stance+, defiant crit, and speed+2(?). Paired with a tomahawk she would just mow down enemies
I could listen to chaz for 20 hours straight
And puke every 10 seconds
Awesome going to love this video
On my Lysithea I had Reason Lvl 5, Fiendish Blow, Defiant Magic, Dark Tomefaire and Dark Magic Range +1. And on my Bernadetta I have Darting Blow, Bow Prowess Lvl 5, Close Counter, Bowfaire and Bow Crit +10
52:10 So I hear you're in need of the army of the Longbow Knights. They welcome you in longbow arms.
Really awesome vid. But how about some 'extraordinary' builds. For example magic Swordsman Lysithea as a Falko Knight, or Full Crit Warmaster Balthus etc. And maybe even include Items, Battallions, Weapons or even Progression (or what to skill first etc).
Falcon Knight Lysithea? That’s practically the same as Dark Flier Lysithea, just a lot dumber
Falcon knight lysithea using magic swords/arts is kinda pointless outside of NG+. Just do the same with dark flier or Pegasus knight and wave yourself important resources.
And full crit warmaster balthus isn't extraordinary at all. That's just the best build for any gauntlet user once you get quick riposte (before quick riposte it's usually grappler with fierce iron fist, anything to offset the low speed of balthus, caspar, dedue, raphael)
Choopi Choosi imparting wisdom upon the masses. Neat.
Ignatz' budding talent grants him Seal Strength, not Seal Defense.
Break shot is what i was referring to. but yeah that can be stacked with Seal Strength if you want.
My rallied up thief Felix was able to double fliers during the battle of the eagle and lion. Doubt he'll stay consistent with that but it's notable
Here me out, war Monk Dedue... yeah his magic is trash, but the hp is good, fistfaire, and heal that heals at least 12 hp? It's always a plus to have an extra healer, and it makes him a more offensive focused unit rather than defensive wall that gets nerfed halfway through the game.
Wyvern Lord Ferdinand with his personal skill is by far the best Dodge tank.
Nolan Brewer Swordsmaster Ferdinand Von Aegir is better.
@@destruidordossonhos7718 Especially if you give him Avoid +20 in Swords
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
L.A.O he is better then Edgelord.
@@destruidordossonhos7718 no wyvern ferdinand is better. more move, flying utility, better weapon flair. alert stance+ is better sword avo since +10 more avoid. lol swordmaster isnt even that good of a class. Assassin easily outclasses it
Bob Fan I actually made the 2 builds, training Ferdinand with Authority first, then giving him Gauntier Knights and training with Flying to give alert stance proved to be better to me.
I gave Lysethia Black and White Magic Prowess, Magic +2, and then White tomefair and Dark Tomefair. With Thyrsus and the Gremory class she is soooo strong
I though listening to Chazz was a pitfall, FED confirmed to think that Lysethia is bad?
I still can't figure out what to do with Caspar in my CF playthrough. All he seems to have going for him is a high HP stat with Death Blow and Armored Blow unlocked.
"Lysithea is my favorite unit."
Hapi would like to know your location.
When i went to the final map of silver snow it was my first play through so I was under leveled and had a battalion on only byleth and I believe seteth I had a horrible Time it was my first time playing a fire emblem game and I didn’t have a dancer
Seriously? You only put a battalion on Byleth and Seteth? And here I was thinking I was stupid for never using gambits and putting Thyrsus on my healer...
Edgeperor remember this was my first ever fire emblem and I was not putting much thought into it
I had this Ignats
Sniper (would've gone bow knight if I had optimized better)
Bow prowess
Poison strike
Seal strength
Rally strength
Rally speed
He was my ultimate support unit
21:45 boy forgot his rescue staff at home.
I’m watching this video suuuper late haha... but yeah the build I made for Byleth is very NG+, less of a practical build more of a hey this is something I did
Fyi username Geededcal, idek how to pronounce it
Just something I saw before which was wrath, battalion wrath, vantage. There are others like caspar
local animal shelter went on alert the moment i clicked this video, not a coincidence
I lkke specialized units too. Feels more RPG ish i guess. Sometimes a team of all the same class is fun
Yesssssssss! Choopi Choosi back in the clack! 👌🏼
In regards to 43:35 (spoilers for Silver Snow final boss)
ua-cam.com/video/PELCHxak-C0/v-deo.html
Indeed it is possible to beat the final map in 1 turn. Never doubt how hard this game can be cheesed
35% is jinxed I swear to god. I have save scummed this chapter 28 times now and Ingrid is still resolutely at base strength, level 8. I'm this close to suiciding her to the death knight.
You might as well turn her into a magic unit with that kind of luck
My dodge tank Ferdinand and Stealth Byleth took out Crimson Flower chapters 15-17 literally by themselves. I deployed two units
War Mastah is obv a great class, but Sylvain w/ Black Magic avo +20, Quick Riposte and Death Blow, shredded anything and everything - and with Healing Focus, he could basically just do what he wanted @7mv w/March Ring.
Sylvain is Bae. But wait, are you talking about War Master Sylvain? Because Black Magic Avoid+20 only works while he's wielding Black Magic, which he can't do as a War Master. Are you talkin' about Tomebreaker?
@@GreekDudeYiannis sylvain sucks buts its my first fire emblem so im clearly doing something wrong any tips on building him?
@@beasthaven1571 Sylvain is one of the better units in the game overall. Whatcha doing with him right now? Like, what class do you have him in, what abilities does he have, and what are you having him study in the tutoring sessions?
Beast Haven Sylvain definitely does *not* suck. You’re either using him horribly wrong or getting majorly stat screwed
The Choopie speaking Facts about Falcon knight
I had so much fun with my great knight Ingrid as she has 30 defence and 40 res growths so she was able to take all hits and with that 60 percent speed growth wasn’t doubles by absolutely everything.
Miracle! Punch! Miracle! Punch! Miracle! Punch!
I'm running a NG Maddening for Blue Lions right now, I only recruited church members and Caspar and Dorothea for paralogues. (Also the rats, but I've only really used Yuri.)
I'm at chapter 20. Here's the squad. Everyone's pretty close to full build.
f!Byleth - Falcon Knight [Lance Prowess 5, Speed +2, Strength +2, Darting Blow, Death Blow] Chalice
Dimitri - Wyvern Lord [Axe Prowess 5, Speed +2, Strength +2, Alert Stance+, Death Blow] Evasion Ring
Felix - War Master [Brawling Prowess 5, Fistfaire, Brawl Crit +10, Death Blow, Dexterity +4] Crit Ring
Ashe - Bow Knight [Bow Prowess 5, Poison Strike, Hit +20, Dex +4, Death Blow] Accuracy Ring
Sylvain - Paladin [Lance Prowess 5, Lance Crit +10, Death Blow, Lancefaire, Mov +1] March Ring
Mercie - Gremory [Reason 5, Authority 3, Black Mag Range +1, Mag +2, Fiendish Blow] Rafail Gem
Annette - Dark Flier [Rally Speed, Rally Res, Rally Mov, Reason 5, Black Mag Range +1] Magic Staff
Ingrid - Mortal Savant [Reason 5, Sword Prowess 5, Magic +2, Speed +2, Fiendish Blow] Speed Ring
Seteth - Paladin [Lance Prowess 5, Lancefaire, Lance Crit +10, Death Blow, Dex +4] Crit Ring
Flayn - Dancer [Magic +2, Special Dance, Reason 5, Black Mag Range +1, Fiendish Blow] Caduceus Staff
Flying has +10 avoid because they cant use terrain bonuses
Until they dismount and they get both. The biggest problem with flies is that dismounting has next to no negative effects aside from a few small stat drops.
y'all should try Magic Ignatz. It's actually really fun
Glad to see choopi on the channel
I kinda made my ignatz a bishop best thing every
Hey a duo of two of my favorite buddies! I wish I caught Chaz when he was streaming 3H, because his builds sound super interesting! Especially his reasoning behind them.
About the third or fourth time ive watched this i would absolutely love for this to be a series something like bringing a guest on to discuss maddening builds. I feel like while hard mode you do more goofy meme experimentation on maddening you do experimenting to see what actually helps you survive the mode like different avoids and defensive tactics. Honestly i could see this series doing very well i would definitely watch
Dedue doesn't fall off if you make him a Grappler
Availability not so good (despite dimitri "kill every last of them" state 2-5chapters)
Does that mean Dimitri is not available during that time?
@@Choops6969 i mean, teach can't teach him for amount of time

Even when you go out of your way to have him not die, he comes back so late that his best purpose is just as Dimitri’s adjutant, not accounting for insane rng
17:57 for a second I thought you somehow forgot the name of Ferdinand Von aegir
How do you guys feel about bowknight ignatz?
i ran him on Hard Blue Lions and he was awful honestly outside of rallies. He thrives in Maddening Enemy comp.
I've tried it on my very first GD run and benched him, because he got so stat screwed. He's suprisingly good as a War Master, even if it's mostly just player phase. Also his personal + Archer Mastery + Offensive Tactics gives +60 hit with Gambits. Works wonders on the Silver Snow final boss.
What skills would be best for Dorothea, but not as a Dancer?

I use this for most of my magic users:
*Reason Prowess
*Magic +2
*Fiendish Blow
*Black/Dark Magic Range +1
*Black/Dark Tomefaire

Nice done i like it :D
What’s the benefit to having Peg Knight over Falcon Knight?
You get it sooner
@@marcoasturias8520 Also significantly less skill investment. In the Leonie build example in the video, this allows her to hyper-focus on bows for 90% of the game and get bowfaire out of it while staying in a flying class and having great speed growths.
Darting Blow and Triangle Attack.
@@AkameGaKillfan777 is triangle attack exclusive to pegasus knight?
@@marcoasturias8520 You can use it in any Flying Class.
Going to sound like a buffoon for not knowing, but how do you get the poison strike skill again?
Soup Plopperstan Its from mastering dark mage, you get dark seals from killing death knight
ChelseaLToons thank you!
Soup Plopperstan No problem :)
Yeah, final maps with monster bosses on Maddening are BS. Azure Moon forced me to constantly reset because I just got 5-10% crit so often and missed 80% hits so often. There's so many enemies, Edelgard is just a permanent RNG check, ballistas and bolting/meteor mages for days. That's why I plan on skipping final chapters in the future because they take so long and are entirely luck dependant besides the Nemesis chapter
Use Battalion Vantage/Wrath Dimitri and give him Retribution or the Chalice of Beginnings item and a Killer+ weapon with a crit boosting Battalion, and watch enemies drop like flies.
You can 1-turn the Silver Snow final map too. It shouldn't be too difficult even on hard.
Am I the only one who turned Dedue into a Dark Knight? Try new shit people!
There’s a difference between trying out new things and praying that Dedue gets even a somewhat decent magic growth
Edgeperor worked out for me. It was fun!
The only thing chaz has ever been wrong about is saying that 3 houses is designed around divine pulse when in fact the turn wheel is a quality of life mechanic that encourages riskier play
My counterargument is reinforcements that move and in a few specific levels immediate impact changes to the battlefield.
With maddening difficulty, it means units get killed from out of nowhere.
@@kingslayer86 previous games on the harder difficulties did the same thing and a turn wheel mechanic would have saved much time and energy
@@blankblank6214 Those previous games were much worse for it too. Definitely saves time and energy, and my patience.
@@OnlineVideoSurfer now imagine 3 houses without divine pulse because you can easily beat it without it
@@blankblank6214 Oh you can. No doubt. But it would be a very cruel game to blind players on Maddening.
