Ok, let explain: they did this on stage, just not the way you think. This is Augmented Reality. The way it worked is: people downloaded an app for the event. If you look at the stage with "naked eyes" you only see the artists/dancer/real things. But, if you look at the stage live thru the app, wish is using the smartphone camera lenses, you can see LIVE the 3d model and what they are doing. Note: this is Augmented reality, not just a video playing on the phone screen, meaning: depending where you are in the stadium, you see the 3d models from THAT angle. If i face at the center, i see them strait face, if I am on the right side of the stadium, I see them dancing from their left side. This is not video projection, this is live 3d animation 360* angles.
its called Augmented Reality. You guys should check out True Damage - Giants live performance next and "10months 10minutes" (behind the scenes of making all the stuff) after. Cant say too much bout AR coz im too lazy to write lol.
I think tbat actually isn't the thing, remember the dragon that flu around the audience in 2017 I think? That actually wasn't AR that was just on monitors above the stage so I think this is the same thing it was recorded from monitors. Edit:I was right ua-cam.com/video/UwqZ8E5tp9Y/v-deo.html
you all probably dont care but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@@louiecolton621 Well, I think that its not ur fault cuz ig is doing sum weird stuff nowadays, so sometimes it happens to me it says wrong password but its actually a wrong username or it just doesnt let me in. And if you rlly forgot your password and if your account is connected to an email or smth you can tap Find my account and type in your email and it will log you in. Gl!
Soyeon and Miyeon are always involved in pure gold performances. I can't remember if you guys ever reacted to (G)I-DLE's Lion Queendom performance, would love to see your reaction to that one!
Yes they were there for (Real) Its augmented relatity technology. I'd suggest you watch the entire 2019 Opening. Then 10 months for 10 minutes. It explains what all they did for the 2019 world championships opening .
if they want a performance where the characters are interacting here but actually there "holograms" then 2019 opening ceremony is definitely the one to watch. it's the best opener imo out of all 10 years as well.
1. They used Augmented Reality (AR) technology to make this happen. They cannot see the characters on stage, but on the screen above the stage. It is the same tech used in Pokemon GO. 2. Yes they used Motion Capture for the movements of the characters. The 2 Koreans from (G)I-DLE (Soyeon & Miyeon) did their movements for their characters, Akali (rapper) and Ahri (fox lady) respectively. You can see some of their behind the scene on CUBE Entertainment channel. 3. Yes, those fireworks were from Kai'Sa's "wings". As you said those are actually her weapons that shoots projectiles as you can see on the MV as well (and the original look on WARRIORS 2020 cinematic). Great content as always guys! Keep it going.
Wow, technology certainly has advanced enough to change concerts now-a-days. That was rather cool! Funnily enough, I was also wondering if the movements had been generated by motion capture technology. It's crazy that this is from 2018. Such a great performance! Thanks.
They used Augmented Reality (AR) for character shots and I think but I am not sure that crowd was able to see them with special glasses. Also yes they used actual motion capture for the dancing of the characters, there is video on youtube how they did it.
You guys need to react to Hyuna "I'm not Cool" track literally just dropped and it's already has over 1.6 million views lol. Girl seriously is on a different level. :b
This is the exact same technology that puts the down lines on the field for NFL games, or superimposes info over cars in races, or highlights the puck in hockey games, etc. Real time tracking of a live environment isn't really very new. However, they expanded it in a couple ways. They used handheld cameras for a number of the shots, which adds a lot of complexity in that the location of the shot isn't fixed meaning a lot more angles and perspectives can change. Though they definitely planned the camera moves out ahead of time simplifying this somewhat. They created a 3d model of the environment and lighting for the characters to be animated in. This allows the real world lighting to "interact" with them not present 3d characters. The reflective stage surface also has their reflections in it (superimposed with them) which really grounds them into the world and makes them feel a part of it. Future opening ceremonies failed to incorporate proper shadow/lighting/reflections and the characters just look copy pasted into the shots, not a part of them. One thing that makes this easier than what the NFL does is they keep the characters in front of everything else at all times. The NFL has players and thinks on top of the down lines they paste into the images. Which means they have to superimpose the line across the whole image, then they have to take the players outlines in realtime and CUT that from the line so it looks like it is on the field underneath them. By not allowing anything to go in front of the characters they don't have to worry about that at all. The characters are moving really fluid, but they are not high resolution models. When you get closer up shots you can see that they are pretty low quality. But they weren't meant to be seen up close. Only at a distance on enormous LED screens during the day. This makes it way easier to put them into the video as well. Old technology used in a new and creative way. They took all of the cheats they could to get the best looking motion and presence using the real world lighting and situation to cover up those short cuts. It's all very smart really. They use the same technology in the 2020 opening ceremony to bring a dragon down into the stadium. There is a glitch however. Right when the dragon flies up and out of the stadium the tracking for the camera skews just a bit and the dragon's shadow separates from the stadium facing. Once you see it its really obvious, but it's only a quarter second long so most don't notice.
It was augmented reality. If you watch the large screens to the sides, you can see that the characters were added in LIVE. They were not added in after/post. Some people (supposedly) in the audience were given special devices to see them live on stage, rather than on the side screens. If you that this was good, watch the 2019 Worlds Ceremony. You'll lose your mind.
It's hologram like vocaloid but before it was turned like that the main singers have to wear green suit to copy the dance and turn it to like the hologram

en realidad si podias verlos, esa tecnologia fueron poco a poco la usaron,el año anterior tenian un dragon que recorre todo el estadio con su vuelo y baja al centro y podias verlo y todo y lo genial es que tenian reflejos
If you watched 2019 you will say Riot is Event organisers not game devolpers then someone will say they did music themselves too and you will say say ok they are music company and event organiser until someone will tell you they make animations themselves too and then your face will be just wtf they don’t do and i wasted someone a lot of time sayingsame thing over n over
yeah forsure if you can react to opening ceremony 2019, However try to react to the full opening ceremony. so you can get the full experience instead of the individual parts of the opening ceremony they put in like 4 min vids, just watching the vids alone can take away from the experience of it
