My favourite of the 4 is the Tempest tin. It was the first Tin I opened after getting into collecting cards again in August 2022. I found it in my local cardshop for 400,- Danish kroner. It was sitting on the shelf since 2013!
I had one of these tins when I was little, I think it was Tidal! I absolutely love tins like this and I wish Konami could bring them back, would def buy even for just the tin artwork
I wish I was still playing when these were new. I always loved the tins, and really miss having nice art tins. The last 3 years of relatively plain tins has been kinda sad. The best I can say about them is they're sized pretty well for bulk storage. Sometime I should pick up one of the more reasonably priced tins from the 2010 - 2013 era.
My favorite is definitely the waterfall tin. It just looks beautiful. Storms is a close second for sure. I remember when these tins came out I ended up pulling an ultimate rare 107 from a Redox tin.
The redox tin was pretty sweet. The artwork of the cards and the promo pamphlet artwork was really cool. Never got a chance to pick any of these up but wish I did!
Really prever the older tin layout with the little preview window. From these four, my favorite is Tidal. You could splash this card into every water deck, and there were many at that time. Such a nice card.
I’ve had one of my opponents near my local trading card shop play against a dragon ruler vs dragon ruler deck in an Edison format, had some trouble playing with this deck, it was fun to try out!
That Tidal tin was so epic! I managed to finish collecting all 4 tins and Tidal's took quite a while to get and it was the most expensive by far. I don't think they're many out there now.
I've only ever opened up a tidal tin. So tidal is my favorite dragon ruler I got from yugidude Fredrick. Loved the bls . I didn't really get anything crazy from the packs. Hope yall having a great day
I really like Tempest, mostly because the art looks more dynamic, in my opinion. I remember buying the Tempest and Redox Tins a year or two ago, and just being like "Well, I saw Number Hunters in a checkout lane, so that's probably a bad sign for the set"
always loved these types of tin as a kid. First monster tin i got was Exarion Universe. Might not have been the best option but i thought it looked cool. Currently using that tin and a 2003 Kaiba tin for storage.
I wish they still made tins man. Imagine like tins with Bystial Monsters on it and like a pack of Battles of Chaos, Power of the Elements, and two Darkwing Blast. I would buy them I hate that they don’t make them. Tins have always been a favorite of mine
Oh i love seeing these monster tins, love the Dragon Rulers amazing cards and archtype. Only Tier 0 deck that didnt have Tier 0 deck status, because it came out with Spellbook of Prophecy. I would love if they brought these tins back 😁
Hard to pick a favorite bc i’m not to familiar with the cover cards or packs out at that time but gotta appreciate the artworks of the tins, wish they continued those
Redox was my favourite tin purely for the promos. Every single promo was a hit in that pack. Artwork wise, blaster is probably my favourite dragon ruler. Btw this opening absolutely Ruled!
Oh man, I remember the Dragon Ruler days. I've always loved the artwork, but Tidal is definitely my favorite. I remember back in the day pulling my first ever Ghost out of a Tidal tin I got at Target, so hopefully something similar happens here! Let's get it!
Blaster is definitely my fave tin! I know the pulls weren't the most insane (except, you know-the fishy boi) but your vids make even the most 'luck'luster pulls into a fun opening!
I honestly am stuck b/t Blaster, Tidal, and Redox. But if I HAD to choose 1, it'd be Blaster. I really liked playing Laval Quasar Dragon and using Blaster in it was a ton of fun! 💪
I seen you do a video with pokerev and your just as fun to watch. After watching a few of your videos I bought my first yugioh booster box. I’m excited about starting a new collection. Thank you
I remember seeing Redox tins for $6.95CAD back in 2018... One of my biggest regrets is not grabbing any, I should've bought cases and cases of them lol. Also wish they'd bring back tins like this rather than mega tins... imagine pulling an unlim starlight in a 2023 tin rather than just reprint secrets/ultras etc haha. Great pull at the end there bro!
I'm more confused why he was talking about paying things like 80 USD for them. I know a couple places they're only 40 CAD right now. I've recently been buying all of the promos from between the time I wasn't buying/playing and where I couldn't find singles I just bought the tins themselves. Yeah if you want to buy it from somewhere like Dolly's you'll probably pay out the nose for it but plenty of smaller places exist that don't care about ripping you off.
Amazing content as always just as I need it too as I needed to see whats in the 2013 tins as I've just ordered some so thanks can't wait to open mine when they arrive now :)
I think I kinda like the Tidal tin the best. I know it's the "dragon ruler of waterfalls", but I like how the dragon almost looks like it's made of ice
I think my favourite tin is redox design wise I forgot about yugioh around the dragon ruler era. But redox reminds me of those weird dark souls enemies with the big eyes that spit curse.
These + hieratic dragon tins were my go tos when my mom would take me to target back in the day. She would never let me get the prophecy destroyer tin since it looked demonic lol
I remember when these came out when I was a kid and how broken they were but sadly you know they got the shaft but honestly I still love blaster and tidal because their cover art is just bussin
Appreciate the shout-out! It was a blast having you on! Bless the future pulls!
-Joe HOTP
My favourite tin is the blaster tin because the artwork looks really amazing and the orange color makes the tin legendary
Was about to say the same thing. Each dragon Ruler art is great, but Blaster looks the best
I had the tidal tin back in the day, rulers will always be my favorite cards. I hope they come back in a larger capacity than just Tempest at one.
My favourite of the 4 is the Tempest tin. It was the first Tin I opened after getting into collecting cards again in August 2022. I found it in my local cardshop for 400,- Danish kroner. It was sitting on the shelf since 2013!
My favorite tin is the Redox tin since it enables the world-famous "Redox pass" strategy.
LOL
Tempest dragon ruler of storms is my number one. The card and tin make this card look insane! Great video man! Keep up the good content!
Redox is my boy. Love the name and the art of it more than the other ones.
His name is Yuma Tsukomo
The old Ghosts look so sick
My favourite Dragon Ruler is definetely Redox as the artwork looks very clean. But all of these tins are very nice.
I had one of these tins when I was little, I think it was Tidal! I absolutely love tins like this and I wish Konami could bring them back, would def buy even for just the tin artwork
I wish they would bring back monster tins like this. They were fun to open
Pretty sure Tidal made an appearance during Game of Thrones. That’s +10 points.
Don't sleep on the Amazing Defenders box - had a Purrely CR + Ohime box this week! Tempest gets the nod from me on the tins
I stopped playing these were released, but always fun to open tins. Bring back memories of the GX era tins
My favorite is definitely the waterfall tin. It just looks beautiful. Storms is a close second for sure. I remember when these tins came out I ended up pulling an ultimate rare 107 from a Redox tin.
My favorite aspect of yugioh is pack filler. I always enjoy seeing the diverse array of card effects that the designers include 🙂
ITS always hard to get ur hand on some old tins nowdays so watching u opening them is really nice
It’d be so cool if they tried this type of theme out for tins soon. Gigantic spright, Regulus, and illusion of chaos tins would be sick.
Wish they would make more tins like this nowadays. Thanks for the awesome content everyday Rux! I always look forward to my daily Rux video/stream!
The redox tin was pretty sweet. The artwork of the cards and the promo pamphlet artwork was really cool. Never got a chance to pick any of these up but wish I did!
I love the Dragon Ruler of earth/boulders. It looks so menacing!
Really prever the older tin layout with the little preview window. From these four, my favorite is Tidal. You could splash this card into every water deck, and there were many at that time. Such a nice card.
Blaster is my favorite looking tin and dragon ruler in general. Such good tins. I remember buying 3 of each when they were each released
I’ve had one of my opponents near my local trading card shop play against a dragon ruler vs dragon ruler deck in an Edison format, had some trouble playing with this deck, it was fun to try out!
Love how the blaster one looks. I still remember as a kid having a summoned skull tin with all my cards just loose and unsleeved in it haha
Hope yall having a great day
I loved opening tins as a kid, wish more kind of stuff came out like this still. Nice video!
Seeing all the Dragon Rulers is definitely a blast from the past, good stuff
I really like Tempest, mostly because the art looks more dynamic, in my opinion.
I remember buying the Tempest and Redox Tins a year or two ago, and just being like "Well, I saw Number Hunters in a checkout lane, so that's probably a bad sign for the set"
Don't know much about this era of yugioh so always enjoy watching these openings so I can learn more about what I missed out on :)
always loved these types of tin as a kid. First monster tin i got was Exarion Universe. Might not have been the best option but i thought it looked cool. Currently using that tin and a 2003 Kaiba tin for storage.
I personally love the way Tempest looks, the wind and the storm just fits it
I wish they still made tins man. Imagine like tins with Bystial Monsters on it and like a pack of Battles of Chaos, Power of the Elements, and two Darkwing Blast. I would buy them I hate that they don’t make them. Tins have always been a favorite of mine
The dragon ruler tins are all great, but my favourite one is the Blaster. Such an awesome artwork!
Oh i love seeing these monster tins, love the Dragon Rulers amazing cards and archtype. Only Tier 0 deck that didnt have Tier 0 deck status, because it came out with Spellbook of Prophecy.
I would love if they brought these tins back 😁
The blaster on first look is my favourite. These definitely came out when I had fallen out of things.
Hard to pick a favorite bc i’m not to familiar with the cover cards or packs out at that time but gotta appreciate the artworks of the tins, wish they continued those
The look of the tins are so nice back in the day only downside is the sizing for storage being awkward
I loved the tempest tin. I used it to store my deck boxes for years when I was young
Great video. Love the tempest tin. The design looks as if it pops out at you. Tempest also the best dragon ruler in my opinion
None of the tins really caught my eye, but the one I liked the most was the Brotherhood of the Fire Fist-Bear because I like the volcano-y look
My favorite tin is definitely the Tempest tin. Mostly just cause Tempest is my fav of the dragons. Great opening, Ruxin!
My favourite tin was the Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms, that dragon looks badass with those tornados
Awesome video! Love these old stuff. I loved these tins back when they released, specially redox the dragon ruler
I really like the idea of guaranteed promos, it's like you will for sure get what is advertised and everything else is extra
Tidal was always my favorite tin growing up, mainly because it had the BLS reprint!
A couple years back I purchased a case of redox and tempest for 80 bucks. I was so happy to open so many tins. What id do to go back
Tidal is definitely the best looking tin for sure. Pretty awesome it had the BLS as a promo too!!
I dont know much about the tins in the video, but I think Blaster is my favorite due to the fire art it has.
Blaster Tin is a personal fave. I just think Blaster's the coolest Dragon Ruler and it makes me happy I can play it on MD now
The artwork for Tempest is just fantastic, favorite by default
Blaster was always my favourite!! Love to see these again, bringing back some awesome memoires :)
Have to with the dragon ruler one. Strange that they stopped making these tins, they were really popular
My fav tin is the waterfalls tin absolutely love the color and it was one of the few that i rarely ever saw at a store
Blaster is definitely my fave tin! I know the pulls weren't the most insane (except, you know-the fishy boi) but your vids make even the most 'luck'luster pulls into a fun opening!
I Like the look of that Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Inferno tin. The colours stand out and the artwork is 👌
I like all the tins because pulling from old sets, regardless of value, is always fun and exciting to me.
My favorite Dragon Ruler is Blaster only because I love FIRE strategies, which I can of course use Blaster in.
Tempest is my favourite out of the four, I wish they still made tins like this now!
The thematic in the Tidal Tin is just perfecktly put together imo,
easily tempest, was the tin i opened as a kid and it was my strongest monster when i was like 12, so nostalgic seeing these opened again
I honestly am stuck b/t Blaster, Tidal, and Redox. But if I HAD to choose 1, it'd be Blaster. I really liked playing Laval Quasar Dragon and using Blaster in it was a ton of fun! 💪
Blaster looks cool, but the concept of Redox is way more awesome to me. Big rock dragon made of the Earth? That's such a cool idea.
I seen you do a video with pokerev and your just as fun to watch. After watching a few of your videos I bought my first yugioh booster box. I’m excited about starting a new collection. Thank you
That's awesome!
I've always wanted to open sealed stuff from this time! Wish I hadn't stopped playing!
That artworks they look so cool! I wish the modern tins to look like the older ones!
Dragonrulers brings back some memories man. Favorite probably has to be tempest. Something about the art just works.
Out of all the dragon rulers redox is probably my favorite its art and effect are so cool.
I love Blaster because he reminds of the Battlin' Boxer deck that an old friend used to play and run him in :)
Dragon Ruler tins are awesome! My personal favorite is Tidal, it just looks so nice

Yeah if you want to buy it from somewhere like Dolly's you'll probably pay out the nose for it but plenty of smaller places exist that don't care about ripping you off.
Blaster is my favorite Tin and Dragon ruler part of that might be because Blaster tin packs always seemed to give me the best pulls.
My favorite dragon ruler is blaster. Used to run it in a battlin boxer deck and had a ton of fun with it
I like blaster dragon ruler of infernos a lot! Such good art as well. Thanks for the nice video Ruxin! Really look out to watch these daily.
My favorite dragon ruler tin is definitely tempest!!! But I wish the older tins were remade for nostalgia ❤️
My favorite out of those four tins has to be the tidal dragon. Such a great looking tin and card
I like the tempest tin because of the tempest dragon card, the artwork looks so amazing and cool.
That fire dragon is definitely the coolest! o: Wow, that Ghost is awesome!!! :D
My favorite is tempest, it was an amazing addition for dragunity decks.
Loved these tins when they came out. My favourite ones got to be the fire dragon ruler
Tidal is my Favourite ruler and tin. Pulled a drachosack Back in the day which was crazy expensive for me
Can't say I've ever had a favorite Dragon Ruler but I think Tempest looks the coolest.
My favorite tin was the tempest. But as for value the tidal tin won for sure! Ghost and ulti in the same tin. Crazy!
These + hieratic dragon tins were my go tos when my mom would take me to target back in the day. She would never let me get the prophecy destroyer tin since it looked demonic lol
Definitely Blaster is my favourite because is one of the first tins I picked up when I came back into collecting
I like the Tempest Tin the most because he is my favourite Dragon Ruler because he is actually not banned and playable in some Dragon-Link builds.
My favorite dragon ruler is Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms. The fire one is a close 2nd.
These tins came out when I was not interested in yugioh anymore and missed all the dragon rulers. I like Blaster based on aesthetics
I remember when these came out when I was a kid and how broken they were but sadly you know they got the shaft but honestly I still love blaster and tidal because their cover art is just bussin
Waterfalls is sick. Didn’t expect that Black Luster soldier
The tempest tin looks amazing
Tidal!! That’s the only tin I ever opened from this year! He’s always been my favorite dragon ruler!
Blaster and tempest are my favorites in terms of the artworks, but that last tin was very nice :D
My favorite tin was the tidal tin reason being I just really liked the art of the tin in the past and it is nostalgic to me.
