I have eaten this fettuccine with butter, lemon and parmigiana Reggiano and it was fabulous! I ate this at a fish market in Alabama a few weeks ago and I plan to make it soon. I have been looking online to find a recipe thinking it was Italian but could not find one that had ingredients I had tasted. So I knew the owner was Greek and started looking for a Greek recipe and BINGO here it is…😋 I am eager to taste that wonderful fettuccine once more. It also came with chicken. Best pasta I’ve ever eaten.
I would have never thought about mixing parmigiano Reggiano and lemon. Today I tried it with scaloppina al limone: Veal cutlet with flour, salt and pepper, fried in butter, for the sauce lemon, little bit of water, lots of basil, return the scaloppina to finish cooking, then off the stove and added the parmigiano Reggiano. What an explosion of flavors! Parmigiano Reggiano truly is the king of cheeses.
Nice - I haven’t made lemon pasta in quite a while but it is so good! I would love to have a lemon tree but I live in Canada. I did try to grow one from seeds but then I killed it when I left it outside too long. I’m going to try this for sure this week. I even have parsley growing in my garden already.
I love your recipies. They are simple and sooo good. I will try this one ! :) I once tried your pasta with rucola, capers, tuna and anchovys. With chili and garlic. It was soo good, that i make it regularly now. Thank you ! :D

Lovely recipe!! I add a pinch of salt and lemon zest to it, according to Gennaros emotional video where he also makes Tagliatelle with lemon.
