- Though Yamaha is still committed to fielding four motorcycles on the grid by 2025, Ducati continues to insist that they want to retain all three of their current satellite teams, Pramac, VR46, and Gresini.
Although the long-rumored VR46 Yamaha partnership appears to be fading, it would be a huge coup for Yamaha to get the current rider leader Pramac away from Ducati, as the company will be without a satellite squad in 2023 and 2024.

I highly doubt that Pramac would switch but I hope Yamaha could pull it off. Though I would rather have VR46 switch to Yamaha. It is such an iconic combination. Seeing Rossi’s team with Ducati, where he had a dreadful stint feels wrong.
But I don’t decide what happens, I merely enjoy watching.
I hope Pramac goes Yamaha an Ducati gives one each factory bike to MM on Gresini an Bez on VR46.....
It would seem that one current factory bike and one year old bike for satellite teams would be optimum. One bike for the satellite “star” and a year old bike for the other up and coming rider.
Makes sense.
No podiums from Morbidelli means bye Franco...
Ducati losing Martin and Yamaha poaching Pramac away from Ducati seems mutually exclusive. I doubt Martin would ever ride for Pramac, much less a Yamapramac.
Pair him with Fabio maybe....
Fermin Aldeguer riding on VR46 seems highly unlikely. As in, virtually impossible. Digi will probably be replaced by Morbidelli in 2025.
He has signed a two year deal and has two year options,Ducati see him as their future against Acosta and KTM
Pramac has Factory bikes the best bikes on the grid, why would they move to Yamaha a bike that’s struggling to get in the top 15
Digi is out performing his team mate this year, Bezz is struggling with the 2023 bike, he also turned down a 2024 bike with Pramac will he get a second chance
What happened to Yamaha V4 project?
Is there one.
@@martinsutherland4270 I think so.. waiting in the wings to be tested..
No there is not, it would have to be the best kept secret in the world
Whenever there is talk of Yamaha, it's always Quartararo, and never Rinns
I mean fabio is the main rider so kind of makes sense
@Roffe.7 it does yes.
I like Rins, but he is not a champion like Quartararo.
But if both Bastianini and Martin will finish in front of bagnaia, will Ducati keep him in red or will he be sent in VR 46?
The Satellite teams on the 23 bike should have the end of season bike with all its mods not the early season version
I'm all for less Ducatis on the grid, but going to Yamaha seems like a bad move
It's a superb move actually .

If they want to be mid pack runners
Who knows, they might make something of it !
Too many Ducatis in the race. It would be a great idea to reduce each manufacturer to 4 bikes. As it is Ducati riders have the benefit on data from many more bikes and feedback from riders at each track giving them an advantage over other teams. That information is currently shared between Ducati teams.
Satellite teams are free to choose whichever bike they want if a manufacturer will supply them
So they’ve gone for the best bike
Not the first time there has been 8 Ducati’s on the grid
I would like Suzuki to come back with two teams. But I doubt it and also.kawi
"Liberty Media" owns MotoGP now and not "Dorna" anymore.
Dorna still run it and manage it
