You are right they tried to pigeon hold her in that uptempo dancing bubble gum music genre when she clearly was tryna be more r&b instead of Pop. THAT'S all on her team and agent .however she still had a nice 3 or 4 yr run long enough to accumulate 3studio album's thru the 90s
