I anticipated this video since you first started the build. It’s still hard for me to wrap my head around a 3-1/2 month build, have it turn out absolutely gorgeous and fly superb! That’s a 6-12 month build for me at the least. Hats off brother 🎩!!! Can’t wait to see what’s in store next on the building table and can’t wait to watch the Goldberg Sukhoi fly

Well, I watched from the start to the end of the build. There is nothing wrong with the finish. You pointed out the flaws, but hell, you will not get it flawless. There is a saying that if it is perfect, then it is not done by hand. Flys great good job looks great. 👏
Hello Andy Just wanted to add that take off was amazin as well as the landing . ? Do you a set elevator trim slightly down for maiden as to avoid becoming airborne to soon or before sufficient speed is reached before rotating

I've been flying longer than that stuff has been around. Not a fan of flipping switches, and never liked the feel of expo. My models are just like the full scale...... all in the stick!
@n1114v yep I hear you there. I just couldn't imagine my 3d planes or my fast turbine sport jets having 0 expo and full throws from the servos. I've only been flying for 5 years or so now, so having only been used to expo and lower rates even though I don't flip any switches. Just don't think I'd be as smooth with out it as you are

I would recommend using Nick's CG. Mine flies the way I like but most wouldn't like how sensitive the tail is.

Nice finish…where does cooling air exit cowl? Seems the normal side exhaust vents are missing.
I have slits in the bottom of the cowl, as well as a pass through the fuse

Nope, everything is set at neutral for a maiden flight

The engine sounds a little unhappy.
The engine ran perfect! Most of the flight was at half throttle
