- Continuing our Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Beginner's Guide series, we are taking a look at the Allied Peacekeeper: Peacekeepers are Allies' basic infantry unit. Costing $200, they are more expensive and stronger than both Soviet Conscripts and Imperial Warriors. Their shotguns deal more splash damage the closer they are to their target, while at the closest distance, they can knock down any enemy infantries (including commandos!). Their special ability is to switch to their "Riot Shield", which grants them insane resistance to incoming fire. Beware that shields slow them down and makes them vulnerable to Molotov Cocktails
For Peacekeeper's strategy, you can combo them with IFV to greatly enhance their anti-infantry fire power. You can also place a Peace keeper inside an Multi-gunner Turret to counter infantry spams.

2:24 I always had the same doubt if the shields are made of inflammable material lmfao
PKs take 1000% explosion damage when shielded, and conscripts deal explosion with their Molotovs. This kinda balances out since otherwise PKs are OPAF. This also makes tanking WF Tower with PKs an extremely bad idea.

@@Zak-tk8wv Wave-Force Tower. IIRC it can instantly kill a shield PK with zero charge.

@@xyhc-cnc Could be. Buy Try using the Soviet magnetic satellite on a shielded peacekeeper. I never tried it myself, but if it did lifts him off, then the shield is metal.

Have you guys tried a challange? in Campaign, i only use Peace keeper in battlefield, i have 205 Peace keeper(or more) its SUPER strong against anything(except air). i don’t remember about peace keeper can’t attack wall not with that many?
Peacekeepers are the best basic MG infantry but the worst anti-garrison infantry.
Conscripts is best in clear garrison

Peacekeeper shield works like a garrison-able structure without being garrison-able. so the molotovs work, but you cant "enter" the peacekeeper so the imperial warrior cant "de-garrison." that's what I see anyway.

Well, shield somehow defends you from all sides, mental damage and makes you explode better. Shotgun could take payday logic: 1 pellet makes whole shotgun damage but one target can take damage only from one pellet. Then you have no difference between medium and close distance and the weapon still makes strong + aoe damage. That's why it's best main weapon there.
They are COSTLY? They are after conscripts the cheapest unit in the game. DUH
Twice the cost of Conscripts. It's a lot when you build a hundred like many Allied players would when they aren't going air. Also Warriors are cheaper.
