    They all turned out so beautiful. I think I like the one on the black cording the best. I love to create on the fly, and a lot of the times as I’m creating, things change a bit. So what I originally think of usually is different at the end, lol.

    "Thanks" . You creativity got my creativity juices going again. Just retired from medical , now in my 70's too. I am returning back into jewelry mostly wire wrapping and wire weaving making again and I did lots of soldering in the early 1970's with electronic and some prior stain glass in the late 1970's so that will be a plus. I have and will be doing metal smithing which is different . Now to tackle this for the begining of 2024! Hopeful my retirement will allow my ideas to come more forward! Love this video!

    When making beads, what temperature do you use. I have a problem with it going to spikes instead of a nice bead.

    • @karensintuitivejewelry
      @karensintuitivejewelry  7 місяців тому +1

      If you’re getting spikes it’s usually an indicator of needing more flux! I start at about 700 F & come down from there! You have to experiment with temperature some but mostly means more flux & just barely tap a small amount while holding the tip at a slight angle! Try not to touch the tip for too long …just a slight tap!

      Thx so much for your interest & support! I’m not sure if you’re thinking I’m soldering with an open flame or torch but I am using a soldering iron & only using it to hold my stone! @@karensintuitivejewelry I know you’re using a soldering iron but even then with the solder you still should not have even a damp towel/cloth under your work. I’m just thinking of your safety that’s all hun. Please do not think me rude or nothing or even forceful but please do not do it. It’s the first thing you are taught to keep flammable items away from the soldering iron and solder when you are taking a course on this in the UK. Thank you for replying to me and feeding back to me your thoughts on what I said to you but taking in to account you own safety please
