    When your big candle is finished fill with hot water and let it cool. The wax at the very bottom will melt then solidify on top of the water when it cools. Use this wax disc in your wax burner, like a wax melt 😊

      This is a great idea and saves extra money on buying wax melts. Thank you for the tip xx

    We have a share and repair place here in Bath. It is great, they can repair all sorts. Also repair clothes, check online as you may need to book a repair. I have saved money going here, they fixed a few electrical things. xxx

    I love board games! Just don't have anyone to play them with (recently divorced, no kids).😢
    Thank you for the tips. I am really trying to get my finances in order and think the idea of using cash only is very good

      I find that when my son is with his Dad I play card games like solitaire as I have no one to play with either and like you I love board games. Cash only is great as it really helps you stay in budget. I'm glad some of tbe tips have helped and thank you for watching xx

    Definitely use your local library because they usually are in a ‘use them or lose them’ situation - I work for them and although we no longer offer DvDs and CDs we loan out sports equipment, laptop/tablets, we have cheap printing facilities, free Wi-Fi, 3 week book loan periods (with the chance to renew 10 times), no fines for children’s items, school holiday and after school activities all for free as well as community groups. If you get in the habit it’s far cheaper than buying books new and paying for children’s activities
    Also while they are young, do not spend hundreds of £ at Christmas and birthdays it’s just not necessary, mine had so much and were actually happy with just a few presents to unwrap, they wouldn’t even have known, or enjoyed them less, if they were nearly new. And they get spoiled by family anyway…far better to save then for when they are older and want expensive phones and computers etc - accept handed down clothes too for all the basics, not necessary to have all the brands when they are young esp with standard things like jeans, t shirts etc

      @@Victoria-kl7su I love the local library we have quite a few in our area some ate great others not so. They are a great resource and your library sounds brilliant. I agree with children's gifts they don't need lots they grow out of it. I do like experience gifts you cam do together as those are memories that last a lifetime xx

    Hi, I'd assume that the dry bed sheet would absorb some moisture from the washing and in so doing helps the washing to dry

    Pants and socks one wear only every thing else only washed when they really need it . Also use the fabric softener according to the instrctions most people use 2x the amount recommended and the extra usage doesnt actually achieve anything ??? If i want my laubdry to smell extra nice i pop a small capful of zoflora in the softener drawer with the softener . Px

    • @Solomumtoone
      @Solomumtoone  11 днів тому

      I never thought of putting zoflora in, I will do that on my next wash. I only add a little softener in too. I'm with you only wash when it is needed xx

    • @Victoria-kl7su
      @Victoria-kl7su 9 днів тому +1

      I only use softener with outer wear, never with underwear or towels - not necessary, also use basic powder, all the faddy scent boosters etc are not necessary, and some actually really smell overpowering - as someone with fibromyalgia if someone uses highly scented fragrances like that my eyes stream and throat burns…..not good breathing all that in
