- Hey guys! In today's video, I'm combining two of my previous video ideas. Painting on CDs and Song Makeovers!! I'll be painting songs on CDs. Previously, I painted songs onto canvases from the Dollar Tree. But I feel like a CD is a much more fitting surface to paint a song. I painted Heat Waves by Glass Animals, I'm Falling in Love by Wildflowers (AKA my intro song lol), and What's Been on Your Mind by Surfaces.

ABOUT ME:
Hi, my name is Marissa (AKA Bellamena)! Making videos about art is my favorite thing to do. I'm not a professional artist or anything (I'm actually a Computer Scientist 🤓) , but I have a lot of fun trying to make stuff look cute. I recently had the opportunity to write a book called Draw Your Journal that is available on Amazon. I get so excited every time I upload a new video to UA-cam, and I'm so grateful that I get to make videos and share them with them you.

I'm 30 years old, I get it. I loved Hannah Montana and had her CD haha. Your style reminds me of groovy chick and Lisa Frank! It so nostalgic. It brings back memories of getting stickers in a pack of bubble gum and all those cutesy things

You really should've painted the other side of the CD's that way you could've burned the songs onto the CDs and played them on one of those transparent lid CD players! It would've looked so cool to see the artwork spinning while the music plays!

Your intro song does sound good! I really like it and by your second video I watched I had that stuck in my head, ended up humming it out loud in front of my family friends and we all laughed. Linking pop music doesn't mean you don't have a good taste of music. And liking Taylor Swift is nothing wrong. And you don't have to be a music hipster. I personally also like Pop music the most.

Totally agree!! I'm a big supporter of not making fun of people for liking popular things! It's cool to like things that are popular. I think people get really touchy about music tastes, art styles, etc for no reason. Just embrace what you like! It doesn't matter if it's popular already :)

I think all 3 turned out awesome! My favourite is the bellamena cd it definitely had me singing your theam song whilst you where painting it. The surfing hedgehog and day dreaming banana money both come In second for me they are a tie.
I was wondering if you could do a disney based set of cds but with your own twist. can you paint the color of the wind? (Colors of the wind) from Pocahontas or under the sea from the little mermaid could include flow and goldie. I just can't wait to be king could have a character imaging himself as a king. These are all examples which you can use if you want to.
