@@ReflectionOfPerfection well Edelman rolled on Hernandez's ankle week 2 against Arizona, then Gronk went out a few weeks later against Indy on a damn extra point! So by the time Aaron got back Gronk was out! And yeah then Aqib got hurt against Baltimore in the AFC title game. Just an unfortunate season with the injuries!
@@ReflectionOfPerfection and you're right about Gronk getting hurt against Houston again! Idk why that slipped my mind. I just remember the Indy game ruining his season
Yeah I disliked the 2012 season. The Pats got smacked by the NFC West and ultimately lost to the Ravens in the AFCCG, the same team they lost to in the regular season that year. 2013 season wasn't any better either. Was basically a Brady/Edelman show that season, just not enough to overcome that high-powered offense from Denver.
Watching a bunch of games prior to this Sunday, there's actually been quite a few this decade with a good-starting Bills team with a chance to take control of the division...and man, this might be one of my favorite Patriots games of all time. For all the times the dynasty "supposedly" was about to end, one even remembers this one, that they were down 21-7 in the third quarter with a chance to go 1-3, because of the wicked switch they just flipped. 45 second half points, my god...
This is a really beautiful game in some ways and while I hate the Pats it shows why they're just such a great team. We hear all these things about how Belichick liked to show his team horse races, to show the winning horse slowly pulling away, or other different sports, and then you see the Patriots take what was a very close game and just gradually start running away with the game. They scored 31 points in the fourth quarter and it didn't even feel like they were trying to run up the score. They realized they didn't want to be in a close game with the Bills and the way that they turned a close game into a rout is something we don't see from other teams in the league.
It was the second straight time the Patriots had to erase a gap of at least two touchdowns against the Bills - trailed 21-0 (in the first quarter!!) the previous December and won 49-21.
to this day, i still don't understand how buffalo went from playing a great game, to just be unable to stop the run and pass and their offense just went mute.
The play at 2:00 is crazy! That 2012 team had unlimited potential, sadly couldn't keep their best weapons on the field together for most the year
They lost Gronk against Houston and Talib in the first half against Baltimore. Both losses are big contributors to the loss to the Ravens

I thought of this game and the SNF game down 24-0 to Denver in 2013 when we were down 28-3 to Atlanta.

TheSquidReport the reason why I disliked is bc u hate the Patriots
It wasn't like being down 28-3 in the Super Bowl, but nice comeback win nonetheless

26:14 the ball boy behind the end zone🤣
Buffalo fans must have been feeling pretty good about being up 21-7 with 10 to go in the third...
...until the Bills allowed 35 unanswered points.
Another Bill's chokefest
