- This is one of my favorite scenes when Sam meets Angel Castiel. Dean always referred to them as heavy weight Doushe bags. Now Sam knows why. I hope you like this. I am going to upload Cass and Dean conversation at the end of this episode after Sam Hain rising. Thanks . : )

I felt bad for Sam. He finally got to meet an angel and the first thing he hears is “the boy with the demon blood”😂😭
It's like a book title for Harry Potter.
I don't know why but I first read this as "the boy with the lemon blood" 😭😭😭
lmao sam was like oMg wHaT an HonOr to MeeT yoU and dean just stabs him
Dean didn't know what he is or who he is!and Sam isn't the one which was attacked and almost died by his true form and voice, twice!and Pamela's eyes weren't burned out already
best friend vs boyfriend
castiel rlly just said “greetings blood freak”
😂😂
It’s so sad when Sam said “your angel’s your supposed to have mercy.”
Ik they just killed his faith :(
You know, I find it kinda funny and I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed how ironic this was. Dean was the one who only believed in evil stuff like demons and never once thought about Angel and he was chosen for heaven while Sam always believed and always prayed to god and the angels and ends up being on the demon's radar. If I was Sam I'd be pissed off 😂
Yes same!
Sam prayed once or twice you melt
He was. It's why he used his powers to fight against them.
@@bobbybobstar1496he told Dean in a really early season that he prays everyday. I just rewatched it.
And that thought process is probably why it happened. He should rejoice for his brother. Jealousy is a poison.
Wow I forgot how different Castiel was
He was so awesome early on
@@Perks5 Right. Much more stern, stoic, confident, and powerful. Then again, he was only a standard grunt angel back then. He seemed to be at his best in Seasons 6 and 8; right before Season 6 he was upgraded to Seraphim, so that's probably why..Killing pretty much any demon that came his way, vaporizing all of the higher-level monsters and Alphas in the monster prison after Castiel "killed" Crowley. He effortlessly blasted a diner full of Jefferson Starships (Vampire-Wraith-Shapeshifter Hybrids), who were supposedly the perfect beasts. In Season 8, he was at his best, as far as his power level, but mentally he was compromised. He spent over a year in Purgatory, running from monsters and Leviathans; by himself for a lot of it. Before Purgatory, he'd gone insane from taking on Sam's Cage-Match scars. Then Naomi was probing and poking his brain with that angelic power drill, brainwashing him, telling him what to do, making him kill fake Deans.
@@Perks5 He was obviously at his weakest when his grace was stolen. Then, he sucked in borrowed, standard angel grace, twice. He finally retrieved what was left of his Seraphim grace at the end of Season 10. As Metatron said, there was "Not a lot, but enough," left. Still, it isnt his full grace, so i guess that's why he was and is still weak or weaker..His powers are waning in Season 15, probably cuz of Chuck, at which he is almost as weak as ever. Getting his ass kicked by a low-class black-eyed demon.
@Ellie B. Well at least he wasn't God's bitch.
@Ellie B. really? Did you saw the last seasons? Chuck was an asshole, the only bitch was Michael. Castiel has common sense.
I miss this Cas. I remember just completely ignoring whatever was going on on screen just to stare at the opening credits to see if Misha was in it, and now... he's still one of my favorite characters, but there's just... somethings gone. They took his arc of learning morality in season 6 and evolved it into learning humanity, which could have been pulled off really well, learning what it is to be human, except they treated him like an alien who needs to learn customs, which is not the same thing. They still do, to a point. They did briefly try to do it right when Cas was human, but then they just... They have so overdone it.
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE sometimes if misha Collins didn’t appear I wouldn’t watch the episode
They neutered him.
@@gus195 i thought i was the only who does that. I'm an avid supernatural fans, I watch every episode just to see Jensen Ackles. But then, misha pop up and all those feelings of excitement and pain of watching those two interact with each other that I don't even care what's going on that episode. If i see no Castiel, what's the point anymore. I did try but it just feels empty watching an episode without him. I always felt guilty. Haha.
I miss Castiel's spiky hair :(
they kind of brought it back in s15 thank god
I just love how Dean sensed Cas,even before coming in and stopped Sam from shouting him😂😂😍😍
Back when Castiel made Dean avert his eyes and sometimes gulp by staring him down or stepping towards him.
*2:53**-**3:05*
shows that he fared him
Forget how Cas was different Sam still has some hope in his eyes
“YoUvE cEaSeD yOuR eXtRa CiRrIcUlaR aCtIvItY,”
Like Sam doesn’t save his ass a few episodes later
it took a few meetings with dean for castiel to start doubting his orders and believe in choice/free will vs destiny/blind faith
See? This is back when there were stakes and angels had power. They were going to destroy a whole town. Honestly, Supernatural season 1-5 is the complete story. Nothing else matters.
Well to be fair the writers thought season 5 was the end so they made the angels powerful, but since they were renewed continuity had to be changed. Plus the angels as a collective were strong, but many died in the later seasons especially archangels so it makes sense why the angels aren’t powerful anymore.
Shut up
@Ellie B. Blame the fans. They wanted & begged for the show to keep going. The boys said as long as the fans want the show they'll keep doing. Up until they made the announcement for S15 being the end.
I think they should have stopped the show after season 5 too. I love some of the characters that came in later but still, the show's legacy would have been better if they had just stopped when the story was told.
@@clintbarton7306Nonsense.
(Season 1)
Cas: I’m the one who gripped you right and raised you from perdition
(14 seasons later)
Cas: Goodbye Dean.
Season 4…
@@Ghost_Hawk Shhh bro, you're going to start a war down here just for that reply.
@@aetheiar03 By being correct?
@@Ghost_Hawk Yeah some people just can't handle simple things and start to rant, then all hell breaks loose. It's the internet everyone is soft when it comes to opinions, facts and words. But when it comes to violence or people getting hurt they laugh.
@@aetheiar03 A quick Wikipedia search or look at the title will settle the matter real quick, I’m sure.
“That’s unfortunate😐” 😂😂😂
I love how Sam was fangirling so hard meeting Castiel. I actually like their relationship better than Dean's
Nah
sastiel supremacy
Destiel yeah sure Sam and cass are alike it states they have things in common but cas is in love with dean
Sammy Is Like really big fangirl
back when the earth only had 6 billion people
The shit that cass would say in early seasons💀💀
Interestingly, Mark Pelligrino, who played Lucifer and his vessel Nick, auditioned for the role of Castiel, back when the character was first added. Misha got the role but then when Lucifer was being added in the next season, Kripke didn't even require an audition from Pelligrino. Just contacted him and told him he got the part. Then Misha also later played Lucifer in Season 11. Can you imagine Castiel and his character going through everything he has gone through, but as Mark Pelligrino instead of Misha? Hard to imagine Pelligrino bro-hugging Sam and Dean.
imagine auditioning for an angel and the casting director is like “nah this mf is the devil i see it”
This was the first astonishing scene in a whole season of great scenes. The direction, pacing, character development, script, and the angels and demons are all developed perfectly for what is to come later. And I realized after a careful re-watch from the beginning of the series, that this was where the show creators really began to perfect the mythos, the characters, and the story-line. This show works because even though Supernatural plays fast and loose with everything from old-timey folklore to the bible itself, you don't even question any of it. Because it's so compelling, you really don't want to.
Dean in season 1:
“we always have too follow dads orders no matter what”
Dean in season 3:
“Well you never thought that this is excessive? You’ve never questioned your dads orders?”
Very nice but this was Season 4.
It’s weird to go back and hear Dean say “Castiel” instead of “Cas” 😂
I cracked up dean immediately tries to kill cas but Sam on the other want to shake hands with cas the two are completely different
When supernatural was good...
I know! Then they changed writers and it all went to crap
Why is Sam me if I met cas. Me getting all stuttering over cas like I'm a big fan ahaha
0:13 sam's reaction always makes me laugh especially when he said oh my god to an angel he thought he would get in trouble for mentioning god in front of castiel except cass was grinning at sam priceless lol
sam used to be such an angel simp
I would be too
I love how Sam and Mary meet castiel with a gun about to shoot and then Dean comes in and gives some this is my bf speech and they look at each other way to hard and sam and mary are like yea no ok I feel like this is fine, ok your a half decent dude for dean to stand up for you, welcome to the (family)not enemy list.
completely agree
Not to mention that Dean hurries both times to save Cas from a bullet, which isn't able to kill Cas, as Dean all too well knows. And both times he introduced Cas as Castiel. Well, it's an auspicious occasion.
Imagine Sam and Dean coming into a motel see Cas and Cas introduced them to Nick Fury
I would pay money to see that.
2:08-2:15 Actual interaction between Lot and the angles, sodom, like 1000 BCE, colorized.
Dear god I thought that was Captain Raymond Holt for a hot second.
carrie yes i love it !
Dean is fine
Man Castiel used to be such a good character
he is still is!even better!season 4 Cas did some things which I didn't like!
used to be? he still is
@Ellie B. he just had a different arc, that doesn’t mean he deserves to die lmao
@Ellie B. Well shit lmao
@Ellie B. Thanks to Singer then
The other beginning of the other beautiful friendship!
may i suggest carrie scenes with sam and deans father the vampire episode is my favorite. i think on second season im not sure.
Don't you mean the plan comes from Michael, Cas... lol
"Your angels, your supposed to be merciful"
Oh Sam, you really think the people who wrote the Bible knew what angels were like? Near all powerful beings who serve heaven as god's soldiers his warriors. You don't have to be merciful when you serve God.
God Castiel is so freaking hot!
HERES HOW SASTIEL CAN STILL WIN-
Uriel supposed to be Arch angel in dis scene yet he listining to Castiel lol
Uriel wasn't an archangel. He was Castiel's subordinate. The archangel are Michael, Lucifer, Gabriel and Raphael
saimcheeda93 in the Bible Uriel is an arch angle but I don’t know why they did not have him as one on supernatural tho
Uriel was never an archangel in this show. He was a "Specialist Angel."
@@stormnewland6890the only angels mentioned by name in the Bible are Michael, Gabriel and Raphael (and Lucifer, before the fall).
What I do not understand about this storyline is, that Uriel belonged to the faction of angels that wanted the apocalypse to happen, and in fact he himself was secretly murdering other angels who did not support their "revolution" against God. For the apocalypse to happen, Sam had to kill Lilith, it was the angels that manipulated Sam into killing Lilith by giving him erroneous information, forging the voicemail and lastly, it was Cas who let Sam out of the panic room in order to kill Lilith. For Sam to kill Lilith, he _had to_ consume demon blood, therefore why is Uriel specifically warning Sam against using his powers?
That is the very thing that will lead him to kill Lilith, which is what they want. It doesn't make sense.
reverse psychology maybe? Telling him no but giving him options to pursue demon blood while they just watch and do nothing, maybe they took advantage of Sam's rebellious nature
2:06 explanains Sodom and Gomorrah
I sure miss old, badass Cass. Now he is ridiculously weak, lame, and pathetic.
@Eliana B. Yep. He is basically human, now.
Thank you 👍🏾
thats just mean yeah the writers did him so dirty making him weaker as the series went on but he’s not lame or pathetic, he’s the same cas he’s just nicer and less cocky now. itd be weird and boring if he stayed in the show 12 years and never had any character development. i think everyone wishes he was still as strong and angelic as he was in this scene and who know why the writers didn’t make it that way but i don’t see how he is pathetic for that.
@@gracesara6611 Even when they first introduced him, they presented him as being so powerful, but then they send him and Uriel in to collect Anna, and fight Alistair and his minions. The first time we see Castiel in combat against anything (a demon no less) and he loses. Uriel, on the other hand, gets down to business and smites those punkass demons. Id like to think that Uriel could kill Alistair, being a "specialist angel." Id also like to think that Cass could kick Allistair's ass after Cass was resurrected for the 2nd time and upgraded to Seraph.
I liked him in Season 6, minus the working relationship with Crowley and the megalomanical consumption of metric tons of souls. I liked him much more so in Season 8. He was willing to go Dark Side if he had to go there. For example, when he reached into that kid's soul to analyze it, which was actually in Season 6, even though it was very painful and insensitive. He was at his most powerful in Season 6 through Season 8. He was decent in Season 8, but, like I said, not afraid to go dark side if he had to do so. He regained his sanity, helped defeat Dick and the Leviathans, escaped Purgatory, regained his memories after Naomi's brainwashing. It was Metatron stealing his grace that made him weak, even after Cass got it back. When he was "human," that made him grow psychologically and emotionally, but ever since then, he has been physically, spiritually, and supernaturally weak. He couldn't even beat those punkass black-eyed demons in Season 15. The only thing he has done since like Season 9, that was morally wrong or indecent, was frying Donatello's brain (but redeeming himself when he restored it), and keeping tabs on Sergei's niece and threatening to kill her if he didn't heal Sam.
