An idea - I think the little red mug on the top shelf in your kitchen would look really cute in the center of the little white cubby shelves. The little gingerbread tree is adorable. I have found on some of my more inexpensive trees that using ornament hooks instead of the ribbons to hang them is helpful because I can squeeze the hooks tight on the branches. Having the ornaments closer to the branches seems to help the wimpy branches to hold up the ornaments.

I know Christmas is a hard time for some people and it has been in the past for me. 20 years ago I lost my Momma in April and six weeks later my husband in June. The next 3 years were really hard for me. But for some reason I am really looking forward to Christmas again. Maybe I am going through my second childhood because I am as excited as when I was a child. My favorite holidays have always been Thanksgiving and Easter, but this year I think it is Christmas. Thanks for being bold and praising God in your videos. It is such a breath of fresh air. Happy birthday Jesus. Bless your sweet family.

Arika, you brought tears to my eyes when you talked about what the true meaning of Christmas is. You are so right. You should hint to Marion one of your Christmas gifts could be him making it possible to put your microwave in the pantry. Lol. I love all your gingerbread decor and how you arranged things. Your house might be small but you manage to make every inch beautiful ❤🌲. And if it wouldn't be too much trouble, please say a prayer for my brother. He had a stroke a couple days ago and is partially paralyzed on one side. I would appreciate it.

think about putting some tree ornaments in the squares of the white box on top of the two shelves you don't like...a red ball shiny brite in one square, a cute ornament like an elf in another, some of your peppermints in a little pot, some holly and red berries, just check your ornaments from your tree, a little gingerbread man cookie in another square,,,,i think you would fall in love with those shelves if you would go to the effort of thrifting just for you box, also instead of painting the shelves how about painting the braces that hold the shelves up white, they are black now...if you paint those white, you will be surprised at how it would lighten up that area....the shelves themselves bring your window surround color over to that wall....so I wouldn't change that , just those black braces...hey if you don't like them white just repaint them...think about it...

Since you have a smaller gingerbread tree this year, have you tried using any of your leftover ornaments in the little white cube box on your kitchen shelf? Then you wouldn’t have to buy anything else if they fit. Just a thought. 😊

I was thinking if you would cover your mixer with Christmas material or gingerbread material you could leave the mixer where it is so it is convenient for Christmas making. I have the same Kitchen Aid mixer as you and it is heavy to carry around so if you put fabric to cover your mixer you won’t have to move it to your pantry. Love your tape trick to put nails in the wall to hang pictures.

On a gingerbread note one of my spare utensil holder which is white I made a gingerbread and candy cane vinyl with my cricket , wrapped the bottom and top with red Rick rak did the same with cheap 5$ soap dispenser. Turned out really cute!!😊

Eric, In order to disguise the Hooks holding Your Wall Decor, You may want to consider using a small Pick or one of those Clip On Christmas Ornaments. I am using the Little Cranberry Picks from Hobby Lobby all over My Home.

As well. Ty for your message. I loss my son last year November 16… a week after his 33rd bday. Leaving his 2 babies behind. He was hit by a car and dealt with a traumatic brain injury for 8 months. I was the most happiest and thankful that god gave me the opportunity to fly to him and he didn’t take him from me instantly. I was there for 8 months.. day and night until he said good bye. I had to buried my boy the day after thanksgiving. Holidays will never be the same to see the rest of my kids and empty chair. He had the best smile and I see it everywhere I turn. But your message really touch me. I decorate my entire home for every season… dedicated to Joel. It makes me feel better and I grieve that way. Sorry for the long message. Tyfs your beautiful decor. I wish I found all the goodies you do at goodwill. Our goodwill here in Orlando is so expensive. ❤happy thanksgiving
