Keep your speedy. Keep both if you get another one. It’s such a useful bag and it’s beautiful. Maybe you don’t use it much this year. But who knows in the future. Lives change and styles. All it’s doing is going up in price at the store. Keep it for sure.

I love looking at what others are using consistently Melissa. Regarding the speedy b 25 I think it will depend on how useable and versatile colorwise a new speedy b would be. If you find that the new one goes with most of your wardrobe, can be carried in any weather, and you really love it and reach for it instead of the ebene one consistently, then I think you can sell the ebene one if you don’t want two. If you want the option of some variety in fall and winter with a darker color, then keep them both. That was pretty unhelpful I’m sure haha. I find that in s/s I don’t have a most used bag. Because I love to rotate my light colored bags and none of them are truly carefree because of the lighter colors, even the canvas ones. In fall/w I definitely have most used, such as my monogram with black trim Odeon, black pochette Métis, and upcoming my keep all 25 in eclipse, all carefree. Not far behind is the Chanel reissue, black 226 as I find that leather quite durable.
That is very true. I should definitely wait and see which speedy I end up gravitating towards more (if I get another one) and if there is space for both in my collection.
I love the Chanel reissue, I prefer it to the classic flap.
I would d keep that speedy and get the new one when you find one that suits you.

If I where you I would sell all the dark brown LV bags and the green casette bag. I dont think the colors suit you. If you look at your old videoes and compare then to the new ones.. then you will see that the colors of the new bags harmones great with your colors. As in the old video you will see all the dark brown bags really drain you.
I would love too see a video where you shown all your bags. It could be a series. It would be so much fun to watch. ❤
I have collection videos up on my channel. I do them about 1-2 times a year. I love to see how my collection has evolved over the years.
I don’t know if I’ll ever sell my green cassette bag. It does get used and I wouldn’t get much for it. If I didn’t use it I would definitely sell it. The only brown bag I own that I’m attached to in my utility bag. It’s great for casual outfits and running around with the kids.
If you decide to cut the straps off of your Rita backpack you should deftinetly make a video out of it.

Hi Melissa! Another fantastic video, thank you for sharing your top used bags. The in-depth reviews and styling tips are always so insightful. For the criteria, I think focusing on the top 5 most used bags every other month would be great, and increasing the usage count to four times sounds reasonable. It would make the list more curated and focused on your favorites.

Hi Mel, I can see why you would want to sell your Speedy 25. The brown isn't you! If I were you I would keep it and buy a fun speedy also. Use the brown one for rainy days and style your fun speedy.
After thinking it over for the past week I’d have to say I agree. I need to keep my DE for days where I need a bag I don’t have to fuss over.

I’m kind of bummed by my color analysis. I turned in all the information on April 16 and never got any results. Oh well. Love your videos. I forgot to tell you I got to see a LV DE croisette and found the it was small on the inside. But would still love one in damier azure. Maybe next year.

The croisette fits a Victorine wallet, a mini pochette, a key clay, a plus size phone, a pack of mints, AirPods, and sunglasses in a small case. I’m editing my review on the bag now and that was everything I had in it 😁.

Hmm, if you do only top 5, there are some bags that might not ever get featured at any point of the year. I don't know, that could be okay too. Do you find that keeping track of your bag use actually changes your use behavior? I keep track too, and think it prompts me to use my lesser used bags more often. Then I wonder, 'how much do I really like it if I have to *make* myself use it?'
Great question. No I don’t think it changes how much I use a bag. I generally just use what I feel like using that day or what bag works best for the occasion. However, sometimes I will notice I haven’t used a bag in a month or so and make a mental note of it.

I had bought the Alma bb in ebene and it was soooo small and not practical for me. But I think they are beautiful. I wish there was a size in between the pm and bb 😢

I understand your sentiments about the speedy B25 because its functional and durable and carefree however it’s not the most exciting bag it’s in a boring color but also classic and timeless so with all that being said I think you should keep it for all the reasons that I have stated but if one comes along in a color that fits your color palate and you think it’s worth having in your collection then at that time you can decide to sell the speedy B25 in the damier ebene canvas
I would definitely keep it until I found an alternative, even then I think I would keep both to see which one I gravitate towards and if I have room in my collection for both before selling one. Thank you for your advice 💙

Hi Melissa. I don't think you should sell the Speedy that you have, because the one you have is a classic, timeless print. As opposed to something that you might get that could be trendy. Maybe try doing videos about less bags used more thru out the month. 🩷
