Brilliant guide my man! I love this track and was having a struggle with the rear of this car.

They call this version the Red Bull x2014 "Junior". I like using the cockpit view with these cars as you can see both side mirrors well. Thx for another great coaching segment Dave!!

Autopolis is such an exciting track once you get to know it. And that downhill right after the hairpin is a full-on piss-cutter. What a corner! I’m about 1.2 seconds off this lap time in my qualifying, my main weakness is being accurate through the final turns under the bridge. Must try harder!

This car. All that aero on the frame but it doesn't amount to as much down force as one would think, especially on the rear. Still a fun car though, once you work out how, when and where you can push through the corners. Nice track guide. I try and avoid all curbs. For me, it feels like the rear wants to over rotate when the tires go onto the curbs.

Autopolis definitely needs more love! Last seen in NFS Prostreet, Shift and Shift 2.
Wished the Lakeside track was here though.

Great vid mate, learnt a lot from it.
Just wanted to talk about the view and rammers you mentioned. It happens to me a lot. I think because I'm trying to be as clean as I possibly can this makes me a victim due to me not being aggressive enough. I approach it that way due to my huge desire to become a better driver, get my Dr up and rise through the ranks. I'm currently in B and it's taken many painful races to get there and I get so anxious about loosing it I sometimes shy away from entering races because I always get taken out.
I currently use the the hood cam and the radar as I thought it would be best? Reason being helps you look as far ahead as possible to the corner exit and next apex. But I also understand the need to look behind for the rammers. So I'm going to give your camera view a try.
My other query is, what can I do to save/catch the car when it does happen? This is something I'm definitely not good at. If you get hit from behind or the side do you slam the brakes on, do you accelerate......I've never really figured it out. I usually turn left, then right, then left, then.......no it's spinning and that's race over.
I'd love to do a session with you but sadly I just can't afford it mate. I have watched most of your videos though and I've learnt a lot, so thank you for that, you are a legend. Keep up the good work dude and one day I hope my Dr is high enough for us to be in the same race, it might be a while though, lol.
    Take it easy fella✊

Don't know why but once i'm behind someone on this track my pace goes down dramatically. Maybe I have some allergic reaction to not being in front😂🤦‍♂️

Can you make a guide on dealing with backmarkers in iRacing? Had a win in the bag yesterday in BMW 12.0 and it was ruined by guys ignoring the blue flag

Same advice applies: rely on your rear review mirror more
