great job, yes lumber prices are even higher in hawaii. always try to buld to your preference so it’s easier for you to do what you need to do. great video. nice loft. good luck 👍
Nice coop. Yes, materials to build is very expensive. My only question is why did you make it only 4ft high? 2 more feet in height would have been much better in my opinion.
@@ponderosalofts6851 Don't beat yourself up over it. I commented what I did is because I did the same thing. Live and learn. Anyway, you can raise and race your birds that's the main objective. I wish you luck.
Thanks! I'm actually building a new loft soon. Wife told me to get it right this time :) this next loft will be epic! It's cool weather season here in FL now so it's a good time to do it
Yes I’ll be racing. I just got a cock & hen today. Cock is son of not play with me (Wonder 63) 3rd place winner n Hoosier & hen is a double inbred ornat grand daughter! Super excited
Dimension is 16 feet long x 4 ft deep x 4 foot high. To be honest, I could have gone higher but I built this when price of lumber skyrocketed so I built it shorter to save $$$
Nice coop and great lil helper. Thanks for showing
Thanks 👍
It looks really good!!!! I had to watch it again to see
You'll like the next video when I show all sliding doors and stuff :)

He should wear eye protection. Safety first.
That's a wonderful advice
Hi Nice Coop great build my friend
Question what are the dimensions
And also how high off the floor is the coop
Once again great work thanks Kenny 👍
Thanks Kenny! It is 16 ft wide, 4 ft deep and 4 ftp high. The floor is about 18 inches from the ground
Can you walk around in it??
Ficou Top Demais Parabéns 👋👋👋👋
Thanks?
Looks great so want a Loft to fly some as well but wood isn't cheap anymore & no birds to fly here.
Sorry man. I save all my wood and reuse them when I can
Looks really nice. I hope I can build something like that one day. Are you Filipino?☺🤔
Yes I am!
@@ponderosalofts6851 nice. It seems like you been doing this for a while. I just started myself last year hehehe
Nice video
Thank you

@@ponderosalofts6851 Check out Manley loft on you tube. He built sliding doors inside his loft. Good luck with your project.

Thanks
So how you cleaning all that pigeon droppings under the loft with that wire floor
I don't - they actually decompose pretty quickly. However, my new loft won't have screens. I'll go back to scraping floors.
👍🕊
thanks
How much $ it took to build this loft is pretty nice ???
Hard to say because I used scraps where I could. I would guess about 1000?
@@ponderosalofts6851 that’s pretty good great job man I wish I was handy 😅
I’m about to start my loft. I’ll be starting with 4 birds (2 pairs) how big should I build my loft?
are you going to be racing? You want to have a section for hens, cocks, and young birds (your race team). My loft is 10x30
Yes I’ll be racing. I just got a cock & hen today. Cock is son of not play with me (Wonder 63) 3rd place winner n Hoosier & hen is a double inbred ornat grand daughter! Super excited
What's the dimension , n how easy is it to handle the birds
Interested in building one like this
It is super easy to catch and feed the birds. They are so much tamer with the small loft. Easy to basket them for training tosses.
Dimension is 16 feet long x 4 ft deep x 4 foot high. To be honest, I could have gone higher but I built this when price of lumber skyrocketed so I built it shorter to save $$$
@@ponderosalofts6851 so u think 6 ft would be best
I would have built it higher yes
How many birds can hold in there
No more than 30, I'm actually going to build a new one because my wife wants to race next season.
You sell any kit boxes
Sorry no.
Do you sell any kit boxes?
Ha!
