Reykjavík is so gorgeous in the winter but slippy in some places once the snow is compacted/refrozen. Yaktrax and snow shoes were really useful during our last visit!

So disappointed..I was scheduled to fly in on Dec 21st and have a 5 hour layover on my way to London, but my flight got cancelled because of the blizzard, and I got re-routed. 😥
