Continuing with the BTCC build and head gasket replacement.

"My girlfriend got this car 10 years ago and has been in the family since. At one time my parents had it as an extra car in case one of their cars needed fix or broke.
Then they did'nt needed it anymore and my father was actually gonna send it to scrap. But I couldn't see that happening, so I took it home.
And then, I got the dumb idea to make a cheap BTCC-Look car out of it.
It is a 2.5L 170 factory horsepower NA engine, and it is staying that way. My first ever build not involving a turbo!
This build is just for fun, it is not intended to be a show-breaker and perfection trofy. It will be made in my garage, with what I've got, just for fun."

I am an introvert person, so you won't see me expressing myself over-exited and happy all the time. Trying to do this in a way that fits my personality.
It takes some bravery to do such job on the engine and you sir, did it very well!
have a head to swap on my 850r (valve stem seals), so enjoyed watching this. enjoying the project, please stick with it. love watching diy'ers on the 850's.

Well done. A daunting job. Kept my 855 from new in 94. Took it every year to Sweden from Gateshead by DFDS.until 02. Replaced the header manifold several years ago. Cannot find the correct 3 bolts and nuts for the rear lower control suspension support bracket or the long bolt and nut for the trailing arm. 👍🏻🏴

Did you do the valve stem seals and clean and lap the valves?
