My 15yr old still has and sleeps with his baby blanket, that we have lovingly named Blanket, and that thing gets washed minimum once a month if not more often. Now he does his own laundry and that includes regularly washing his bed linens and Blanket when it's needed.

My Shark Lift Away has lights. You don't think they'd make a difference but they are soooo helpful. It also converts so you can use it with an attachment for mattresses and upholstery. If you clean and maintain them they last forever. For real that vacuum is one of my most prized possessions.

If you use a tool on a toilet, it forever belongs to the toilet. It never gets used on anything else. Only cleaning cloths can be used elsewhere because they can be sanitized in the laundry.
