- Mid year reviews are more important that new curriculum videos because they give us an insight as to how our choices have panned out. Don't get me wrong, I love a good curriculum unboxing/ choice video, but what I really want to know is how it worked out and did it live up to a persons expectations. This 20 minute video has commentary regarding every book that is used as well as the process of schooling together with this curriculum :) I hope you find it helpful!

How did your kiddos do attention span wise while your reading? Only fear of keeping from doing Charlotte mason while my son is 6. Daughter is 4.
Hi! So my kids did quite well. I let them draw, play with putty, kinetic sand or play dough while I would read to keep them from getting too wiggly 😊 there are also audio books available for some of the read solids that might free you up for your 4 year old. That way you could sit with her and remind her to quietly play with the play dough while the audio book is playing.
I put a dark washi tape over the parts that I don't think the kids should see in those books. :)
That is a really helpful tip! I was thinking about hot gluing shirts on people, but your method seems much easier 😁
So when do you introduce your children to the idea that people in other cultures live and dress differently, and that it's not necessarily wrong for them, but different from how we live?
@@hayleyam28 I let them know now but they do not need to see a naked person to understand. I just say we put the washi over their body to protect our eyes and minds and explain that other cultures dress and believe differently than us. But there is no need to expose them to a naked person.
