1:18:18 - Victor spinning his bass around his body, and coming back in perfectly on the beat is absolute god-tier levels of cool
As someone who mostly listens to these concerts in the background while working, thanks for pointing this out because I never would have noticed it!
It is sick. And even though I use straplocks I still would never lol

It was amazing being there, even in the nosebleeds, and I'm very glad it got streamed again! Hopefully this stays up.
I hope you have the chance to see them live. So much talent!
Thank you. Appreciate this
I love you.
Somebody pin this
Your public service is much appreciated - glad to see the snow and ice didn’t hinder your evening
The accidental loop is a lie! I saw them in DC on Wednesday and he pulled the same thing. Except the loop part at the show I went to was a lot less good than this one. That one was a mess and I felt better hearing it wasn't on purpose. Now knowing it was on purpose I feel lied to and disappointed, heh.
Still a great show though.
Cory....Im 55 and a retired Concert Lighting Director / And Stage Monitor Engineer from the San Francisco Bay area In California. Ive Done Thousands Of shows and I want to let you know that you and your band are doing a great job. GREAT JOB!!!!! Fact Is I dont Know of a better band out right now.... I would have to agree with Victor and say that youre probably the best rhythm gtr Player working currently.... And your Style of playing is a lost art I call it the " Chica Chica Dog Dog" Dont ever stop playing Cory ! One more thing....( and I know your a busy man of late) do your best to Inspire ( your doing that already) and teach the younger generations In the art and style that you play... I know that Victor Runs a Music Camp every Summer .If your have the time ? maybe you could attend.... It would be a great place to pass on some of your knowledge ... Rythem Gtr is a Dyeing art form and the world we live in would be a much darker place if its lost. Once again "Thank You Cory" for the music and the Laughs....Let the Band Know that Im very impressed....and Keep it up.....When you come to Bay Area Ill try to come to your shows .... Your Friend And Devoted Fan ..from California

I went to this show, got to meet Petar and Victor after the show. Absolutely lovely people and amazing show altogether. One of the best concerts I've ever been to hands down.
Victor is a wonderful human being. Every time I've seen him play , I've had the pleasure to have a chat with him . A great person!!!
Haha I was probably standing next to you waiting to talk to Peter. I gave him a hug bc he’s such a boss
I really hope this gets turned into a live album, cause it’s just so so good
Need the whole tour uploaded on Nugs it’s been incredible
Through the magic of the internet you can save this concert and make your own album from it.
This is the live album man, he gave it to us.
The St. Louis show was absolutely nuts!!!
@@nalvaudi he just needs to master it for streaming and earn some more bucks out of it. A no brainer.
Seeing Victor Wooten play Dean Town was quite an experience
Somewhere, Joe Dart was nodding his head without knowing why.🤔😎
@@colinwallace5286 Joe Dart would know exactly why
MInnesota produces legends.
Thank you Cory.
Props to Vic for playing though his Focal Dystonia. Dean Town must've been a challenge, you can see he's not using his middle or ring fingers to fret much by the end of the set. much respect to the man for giving us decades of groove and low end
It's truly sad to see it affect him. I hope he's able to find a way to lessen it when playing like Scott Devine from ScottsBassLessons did with the glove. He also has focal dystonia
Yes indeed. Respect for continuing to play even with that going on. Still gas.
Yeah. That's something that has stood out to me about a lot of these performances with Cory. It sounds like he's found ways to evolve his style in a way that works and he's still bringing a lot of groove. Wish him the very best.
I didn't even realize he had it until I seen him in detroit this year. I didn't know what was going on, and then it hit me. He still put on one helluva show!
Who would have thought that Cory Wong would be the most famous Vulfpeck and more famous than Vulfpeck itself. This guy is legit. And he's also a music graduate. ❤
Two live streams in a row, absolute legend.
The energy of this ensemble is incredible and infectious! I always grab a guitar or bass and try to fumble along even though it's an exercise in futility, but who cares? It's fun as hell! I've yet to watch any of their content without a huge smile on my face! Much love and respect for all you cats!
The horn arrangement on stomping grounds is dope and the bari double on Vic is sick.
40:30 I love this whole show and all of these songs, but sometimes *Meditation* will bring me to tears. Cory did it again during his ending solo. I'm literally just sitting at my desk doing day job work, and it just pulls these feelings out of me. Thank you for putting such beauty and joy out into the world and sharing it with the rest of us.
The broadcast audio engineer needs a high five. Nicely done.
Audio is outstanding. Sounds great
57:39 even the tiny instruments sound huge. How are those drums/cymbals being captured?? Such a great mix!
100 % agree! Amazing audio sound. ❤
Ты прав, чувак. Поддерживаю.
not one but TWO times vic whipped his bass around. Mind blown 🤯
Man! To be playing Stomping Grounds with Mr Wooten! That song brings back memories! What a feeling that must have been!
Had the pleasure of being at this show, such an incredible night. For the life of me idk how petar got such an incredible tone out of that tiny little drum set
What exactly was tiny about his drumset?
Look like pretty standard sizes...I play an 18" bebop kit and when that wouldn't qualify as tiny. Check out sonor jungle kit or questlove breakbeat.
@@danielcohn6884 fast forward to 45:45 you'll see what I mean
Just want to take a moment to comment on Petar... the guy is so flipping insanely dope. Totally has his own way of playing going on, unlimited groove and the abundant energy of a spaniel. So fun to watch and gives so many opportunities for stank face. What a band, everyone brings so much to the table in their own way and they whole shebang is just a joy to behold. Need to get myself a ticket for Manchester, been a minute since I came out to see Cory slay. Catch ya soon man, thanks a bunch for this incredible performance, getting me through the office grind in high spirits! 🙌
This was an incredible show. Completely blew me away. I got teary eyed at the climax of Mediation :,) ❤️❤️❤️
And I thought Friday night in Philly was Awesome. Boston was Baking Hot Beans last night. Great Concert Cory and Team. Thank you for streaming too.
I just got home from this show, it was the shit and the encore press conference was next level satire loved it! Can’t wait to see them again
This was one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Thank you Cory, I guess you really are an internet guy!!
Portland Maine Monday night!
Got the tix for a Christmas gift.
To say I’m psyched is an understatement 😎
I always love how energetic Jon Lampley is! He could seriously be a lead man. I remember meeting him when the band I was an engineer for opened for Allen Stone at a few shows and Jon was playing with him. He was such a genuine guy and I’m really thankful I met him.
I was there! It was my first time seeing all of them. As a bass player, I have to say that every video I have ever seen of Victor, while incredible, just doesn’t compare to seeing it in person. He is a must-see live performer.
I was there, there is no word to say how great it was, Victor Wooten is the best!! Victor and Cory together, it’s like a bomb!!!
Victor Wooten is a 3 trick pony.
this was my first time going to a concert ever and oh man it did not disappoint
life changing experience
I just went to the Portland show tonight, been waiting years to finally give in and buy tickets to Cory Wong and it was 10000% worth it, that made it my second time seeing victor live too in 4 months lol
Similar vibe....saw Victor along with Steve Bailey a few months ago at City Winery Boston...truly enjoyable. Then I see this show....what a blessing....!
This concert was insane. We were there live, and now get to relive it on the livestream too! 🎉
Holy Moly that sound quality is off the charts!!! Crazy! How good do you guys want to get??? Funk Paradise, 2 hours straight... loved the 2 timers.
Props to Sonny to pass it over to Vic - grand!
Petar absolutely man handling that little drum set. What a god damn show!
I don't know if I've ever seen a Cory Wong show where they took so much time for themselves to just hang out and play. Cory is usually more than generous enough with stage time it's cool to see them have a solo day!
Literally setting the bar for live music recordings IMO. VERY impressive.
Sonny is on fire at this show.
I would spend all the money I don't have to watch these guys live. WE NEED A BRAZIL TOUR!!!!!!!
Sonny is a beast
Pretty cool to see this as a live stream, quite a few little imperfections that you don't hear on any of the post-processed recordings but that give you the real experience of what an incredibely high level they play on live.
Such impressive performances. I cannot put into words the appreciation I have that these are being live streamed and watchable after the fact, magical shows.
Cory Always have the Cleanest mixes too❤❤❤
I thank you all for this great moment!!!!
in a world where most youtuber guitarists are alone in their bedrooms pumping out 45-second memes and soyface clickbait, Cory Wong is out here flying circles around them with full length concerts and real life human collaboration 💙
bless this channel for honoring real musicians and real music
The band, the guests, the show and the vision behind this all. Wow.
Saw Jon Lampley in the Huntertones in my hometown on on Wednesday. Came down from the second floor practicing with a blues band and these guys were already going. One of the tightest groups I've ever seen. No surprise he's jammin' with Cory.
When Vic Wooten plays your bass lines you know this is IT
Y'all KILLED! IT! ONCE! AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the tunes!
The mix on this is amazing. Thanks for the tunes
This set makes me feel so good! Thanks for that awesome vibe! You guys are truly awesome!
Kenni Holmen has some serious chops on flute. That solo in Smooth Move was top tier
Very nice that we can see it here on UA-cam. Thank You very much 🙂 I really like the sound of every instrument.
Best discovery on UA-cam this year.
Esto ha sido increíble. Muchas gracias por este regalo.
Conciertazo!!!!! De lo mejor y más fresquito que he escuchado últimamente. Genial...
Guys I'm happy that I was born in the right time to enjoy your performances. Blessings
This was so great!! Best jam sesh ever! 👌
This is a whole another level of awesome! Crazy musicianship throughout and it's so awesome to watch streams of these shows. Really looking forward to the show in London in October! 🙌
thanks for sharing Cory, how awesome ! great audio quality !
I was there and got to meet Cory before the show and was right up front and it was amazing! Also got to meet Georgia of Trousdale after the show, they were absolutely amazing as well! Cory and the band are at the height of their power
Whoa, I saw the UA-cam thumbnail for this earlier and assumed it was last night's show in Philly. Had no idea that they livestreamed two consecutive shows! 😎😎😎
It's insane! It's a miracle after another miracle!
Same here ! glad I got to see Friday's live, will see this one later tonight :)
was at this show. stomping grounds was such a pleasant surprise & my soul throughly ascended
Это не просто концерт, это что-то драйвовое, зажигательное, напоминающее живые выступления рок групп 70х. Музыканты супер, Cory Wong превзошёл себя, звукооператор красавчик!
Thank you so much for sharing!
I have been waiting a Wong time for another Great Band!!!!!! Great Band Cory !!!
You guys absolutely crushed that show! Excellent playing! Very inspiring!
Incredibly funky!
Thank you so much for this!
Just fantastic!!!!!
Soul Bro Number One would smile so broadly if he saw what you are going with his riffs.
Gorgeous musicality and splendid use of roots music to create a fresh evening of butt-moving entertainment.
Robert in Louisiana
Victor Wooten opened several and diverse concepts! Greate!
This performance kicks ass on so many levels....
Wow ! Great Musicians
soooooooo tight - masterful musicianship - love it
Great set! Nice to see Lampley and Negah in the roster again!
I know many people came here for Victor Wooten, but Sonny is sooo funky. My fave bass player
Sonny T held it down nicely like the virtuoso that he is.
@@nubass50 I am a Prince fan. Sonny, Michael Bland and Tommy Barbarella were part of the soundtrack of my life. What a funky band, the NPG from 91-95
I came here for Victor indeed, but 5 minutes later I'm like "Victor who?... Oh right!". This band sounds so nasty, is incredible, Sony T gives masterclasses with every note he plays... Unbeliavable!
This is surreal
love this
FANTASTIC
Met Trousdale with a friend of mine the other night. They actually recognized us from a Vulf Cory Wong cover we did on Instagram. Really cool!
Fantastic!
Фанк, джаз, авангард, реггей, Что-то типа диксиленд - всё супер! Завидую людям на этом концерте!
Fantastic !!
This is a Bad Ass Show. Absolutely Great.
Seeing an artist wearing the same outfit as the band and opening the show with an instrument valuing his musicians seems surreal nowadays. Congratulations!
One of the best shows I've been to no doubt! Super tight
Got to see you at the Palace in St. Paul. Getting to hear Crisis live was such an amazing surprise and treat for me! Thank you all for doing what ya do.
What a band!
"Meditation"; words scatter joyfully around me leaving me with a wide open mouth and a thankful smile, AKA "Back on your feet mate"
Incredible.
I think Sonny T is one of my favorite bass players of all time.. but can you imagine having Victor Wooten at your disposal. damn.
"Tiny Instruments! Wins every time!"
I don't care what anybody says, this is the baddest band in the universe.
My favorite part is Petar going HAM on the tiny kit. Dude's got a groove.
I lov ethis so much.
Don't let perfection get into the way of excellence
Can hardly wait to see ya'll in Detroit!!!🎶🎸🎷🎹🎺🥁🎶
Highclass grooving!!!!
Pure Gold!!
Cheers from Europe
Esto es espectacular!!!!!!!
Always amazed at how tight it is with so many members
Trousdale needs to do more stuff with Cory. Their harmonies are out of this world
Wow!
