    Thank you for sharing your gift of math with people like us. Can you tell me if there is a way to divide a Circle horizontally with lines that are equal. Again thank you,
    A

      you welcome, glad you like it :)
      - you can draw a vertical Diameter for the given circle, then divide this diameter using the method in the Link: ua-cam.com/video/ZPP1MKaks-M/v-deo.html
      then draw the horizontal lines using T-Square

      not exactly, as the method is approximate, yet the error is way to small to be notice (in case your drawing is accurate)

  • @CHlNAZI
    @CHlNAZI 10 місяців тому

    how accurate is it? isn’t a regular heptagon inconstructible?

    • @MaquetteArt
      @MaquetteArt  10 місяців тому +1

      Yes, this is true, this is approximate method yet it is about 98% Accurate, so the error is too small and can be neglected when drawing manually.

    Tried this and last segment too small no matter how many times I tried it

      Hi, please check the steps in the video again :) (my guess is that you are connecting the last point to the vertical construction line)

    Very good but couldn't you just measure the degrees of each part because it would be the same for any size

      do you mean using a protractor? this method is used when you are only allowed to use a compass and a ruler
