Well, i'm playing palace guard as well. And i've seen you lost so many against wuwei on the stairs. I did an hybride version of the palace where they tank and still do dps. I choose bot line but i don't take the final point in order to get the single attack hit two people or something like that. It's really worth trying if you haven't already
@@alfuccine1484 He lost half of the unit because he braced too late, if he braced just a little earlier he would've been fine, the defence on the bottom line is not enough to survive a wuwei burst without the cc immunity from the brace and in that situation even no line is as good in terms of survival, I personally use a mixed line because I like the tight shield formation but full top line with proper brace timing does more damage and feel stronger in a 1vs1, in a normal brawl top line is better as it has better block break, the ability to use shield bash as normal attacks, hit one more unit and daze enemies, bottom line makes them tankier but not enough to survive heavy hitters, you lose more damage than what you realistically gain in defence, there are only 2 reasons to go mixed or bottom line, it's either because you want the shield formation, as it has its advantages, or you don't want the last top line node which reduces some defence, defence you technically don't need anyways as the brace and block is your best defence and if the enemy can go past that, they will be dead regardless because it means your unit are either getting bursted down fast, cc'd or getting hit in the back so, you better hope to have your team near. If you watch closely the wuwei spinned before the palace guard squatted but after they squat, the wuwei got instantly deleted faster than how they killed the palace guards, given how they are played ot at least how they are suggest to be played, many of their veterancy nodes, like in many units, are redundant or fluff, the most useful ones are block break increases, pure damage increase and the tight shield formation
