Such beautiful painting, I just looove all the colors you used! And hats down, the hot-pressed paper I find most challenging, it usually absorbs the paint so quickly that I can't really get the paint to move around, there is simply no time on these papers, which is why I prefer CP papers (I do have paper always listed in my descriptions, since you mentioned that, and most often I paint on Canson Moulin du Roy), I do understand completely that HP is more suitable when you wanna combine watercolors with gouache. And this paper didn't really absorb the watercolor so quickly, it seemed as if the paint was sitting on top of the paper for a while, which is an opportunity to blend them. So so inspiring 😍
Beautiful- Lovely- I always use CP but after watching you I’m going to try Hot Press- I don’t paint as wonderful as you but I’m going to try HP 🤞🏽fingers crossed 🎨 Thank you for the inspiration!!!
Hi! 👋 I'm a new subscriber and a fan here. I stopped drawing a long time ago because a lot of stuffs happened and i was emotionally damaged back then. I lost interest on almost like everything. Now I'm 19, i regretted running away from the things that makes me happy. Then suddenly one of your videos came across my fyp. I was reminded of the feeling of happiness when i first draw. I just wanna make myself happy. So I'll choose to do things that'll make me happy.
Your art is oh so amazing. I’ve become such a fan that I’ve been watching your videos over and over again. You deserve to be known across the world alongside the great masters. So amazing. 💖😊😍
I used to use cold pressed paper too, and I loveed hot pressed paper. This made me miss painting with watercolors!! Loved the finished painting as always 🥰🥰🥰
This is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing this, it's really motivating to see someone who is so free with their brush strokes and who has such variety in poses and so on!
Watching you paint this has me feeling so inspired! And I'm finally gonna take the dive and get an Etchr hotpress... it looks so dreamy 😍. Oh, and Jane-Beata is SO amazing isn't she? Loved hearing her get a shout-out. 😀
Hot pressed paper means that when making the paper, they pressed the paper pulp using really hot plaques or rollers so it leaves a really smooth surface and little to none texture. It makes the paper a little less absorbent Cold pressed paper means the paper pulp was pressed without heat, so it leaves more texture and a rougher surface. It is more absorbent

My favorite paper is pual Rubens 100% cotton, it has become an obsession. I'll use cold or hot but I mostly use cold press for my work.
As always amazing and beautiful, I already want to see the process.💮🌼🌟

I usually only use hot press with watercolours since i tend to use pencils over the base paint so I dont need to deal with bumpy paper lol
