YES is the greatest progressive rock band in my opinion. Loads of greats including "Roundabout", "Awaken", "The Gates of Delirium", "Close to the Edge", "And You and I", "Turn of the Century", "Starship Trooper", "Perpetual Change", "The Revealing Science of God", lots more.

Most Yes fans like their 70's stuff the best. They reformed in 83 with a new guitarist and more commercial sound, the 90125 album is great, but the 70's stuff will blow your mind. They are still together, touring and making new music. Check out their song Roundabout next.

Ladies and gentlemen Chris Squire and YES the greatest show on earth. Nice reaction, Trippi. Enjoy your YES journey with Roundabout off the Fragile album. FYI, Anderson's lyrics are loosely meaningful and most of the time chosen for percussive quality, but their is an idear behind the song. 🙏🎶

Cool... Incense sticks... Memories ;-) The band YES has also gone through a lot of changes in its history (from 1968 to today) (in terms of personnel and style). But somehow something interesting has always emerged. I got to know and love them in the early 1970s with their classic symphonic prog rock. Many old fans deny the current line-up of YES the right to still call themselves YES. Nevertheless, I would like you (as you are "unbiased" when it comes to your expectations of the band) to listen to a song from their last album (2023). The title track "Mirror To The Sky". I think it's an incredibly good song. (be sure to listen to the long version (nearly 14 minutes). The shortened Lyric video is missing too much, because... the song is not a note too much)

90125 was like an open gate for young people (in the 80s) to enter deep into the mystical journey of the world of prog.

Aye! Do "I Would Find You" by Journey. It's pre-Perry good shit.

The intro and outdo are in 27/8 time.

The repeating pattern is actually 17/8... but when written out (for the sake of sanity) it would be one measure of 4/8, one measure of 3/8, another measure of 4/8, and finally one measure of 6/8. Rinse and repeat. 🙃
