Nice video......I got my Buccaneer when I was 65, and love it. I still have my Cardinal, but it can't compare to the Buc for fun and versatility.....BTW, the useful load in a mine is 1000 LBS.......Also, if the waves are hitting your nose gear doors while step taxiing, then you nose is way too low.
Just wanted to say that I've been watching your videos and they have been very inspiring. I will be 50 in April, and have just started my online ground school.
I don’t really know it’s my first time learning it but you do need a lot of power when the gear and flaps are down just because you got a lot of drag out. It’s a different airplane to land but it is really awesome nonetheless. Thanks for watching!
I’ve flown with a few guys who got in the habit of landing with a bunch of power. Big jets land with power at idle. Little prop planes usually can too. I’d be interested in learning if this was just a technique the guy has, or if most pilots land this model with power.
I’m pretty sure this model requires a little bit of power to land it just because there’s a ton of drag out when the gear and the flaps are down. Thanks for watching!
I know I have several shots of it on the ground but nothing in the air I just have that one camera angle but it is a cool looking airplane and I may be doing more videos with the owner of this one. Thanks for watching!
Yeah, yeah….ever notice you don’t see bush pilots flying amphibs? The most practical mod for the Lske would be to put it on floats. Except for weight increase that would give access to docks, get you high enough to see dead heads, give you compartment floation for safety and increase wave tolerance…just sayin
N32DQ is My LAKE LA-4-200. Beaufort SC. Nothing beats a Flying Boat. 17 years now. Arrgh. All Pirate/Pilots love the Buccaneer.
Capt. Morgan.
Flying and Boating my two passions all rolled up in one vehicle nice.

That’s fantastic!! Get that written exam out of the way way first and then you can focus on flying !!! Go Go Go!!! Thanks for watching!
Good work Ed.
MY life’s dream is to own one. Aventura is my price range. I happen to love the Avs visibility as well.
Looked like fun.
Living my dream brother, great video!!!
Such a pretty airplane. Love the white yokes!
It was a blast to fly !!!
Great getting yourself in different types - expand the horizons, so the speak.
Dad owed the only one that didn't have the gear! CF-HYZ
I used to dock my ship across from 22.
You know your increasing the future population of Florida by posting this video. It’s 19 degrees in Boston. Haha. Safe travels KAPF
🤣🤣🤣
How would an engine failure be handled in this aircraft? Does the nose drop?
Same as any other - nose drops slightly and pitch for best glide ... thanks for watching!
아 멋있다..
Cool airplane. Thanks for sharing. Is landing with power a compensation for poor teqnique or is it the only way to land this airplane?

Just completed my training on the LA-250, and you can land it without power.
Simulated engine failure, dive with 80KIAS

This seems very stupid to me, this plan was made to land and take off in the water, not jet ski around at speed. What am I missing?
What’s the tail number on that?
You know I don’t know… You’ll have to listen to the audio when he does his traffic calls. Thanks for watching!
The only thing that was missing was a shot to show the whole plane. I had to google it to figure out what it looked like
I know I have several shots of it on the ground but nothing in the air I just have that one camera angle but it is a cool looking airplane and I may be doing more videos with the owner of this one. Thanks for watching!
