Donnie doesnt want it, Davey doesnt want it and Lance doesnt want it. They will win races with less motor on less budget than the competition, id say they are professionals and have nothing to prove to you or anyone else for that matter. Absolutely brutal, the good news though is it looked like he got away with that one without really getting slapped too hard. Could've been a lot worse for sure, my dad raced sprint cars for 32 years of his life, and he said he could see him coming in to turn 3 lower than some other cars and if he did it wrong, having it bit and just send him tumbling was ALWAYS a possibility. Just to be clear, I'm not saying he did anything "wrong" it was just a really tricky section of the track and he ended up getting bit by it.

thank you to God then thank you to every person responsible for making sure drivers are safe during crashes from the harnesses to the cage to every aspect of safety and it goes without saying that is one tough driver and I am so glad that he is going to come away from this thing with his health as far as I know 🙏🏼

I was there that night with my grandparents and it was pretty scary because we thought that was Rico that flipped and we were just so thankful right after that was Brent Marks and that he was OK good job Lance good run to be honest.

@@wyatberp3611 dog the car was still together in one piece I would say that was a fairly easy flip. It could have been way worse flipping out of the track. He got the best of both worlds in a shitty situation. He’s still got a straight chassis because the roll wasn’t stupid hard. And he’s not hurt at all. I’d say that wasn’t a bad flip. If you think this was a bad flip then stop watching sprint cars now
@Brian Siler it clearly wasn’t brutal if he got out of the car with no injuries. There’s people that flip was easier than this and take serious injuries. That’s why we have harnesses and other safety equipment. This flip was one of the rare ones where he’s lucky he didn’t keep going over the billboards or like Brady bacons crash last year. This wasn’t as “brutal” as y’all say. Let’s ask Brent marks how he feels, I bet his body doesn’t even feel like it’s been in a wreck because there wasn’t a shit ton of banging around and hitting other shit.

WOO race is canceled but they are going to try and figure out how to reschedule it correctly? Can't see how for this year because the nights are getting longer and colder by late October early November so no point in rescheduling this year. Best bet is to reschedule next year for the Friday race being the rescheduled 2022 race in 2023 with the Saturday race being the National Open as well. 2 days of $75,000 for next year sounds logical. They did this for the Kings Royal last season to make up for the prior year so makes sense to do the same for the National Open next year. Getting a late season race at Williams Grove Speedway in late October early November will result in much less people in attendance vs just rescheduling it for early next October with having 2 nights of a $75,000 to win National Open. Friday next year the rescheduled 2022 National Open and Saturday of 2023 the 2023 National Open makes much more sense and will bring out the fans more then rescheduling it for late October early November of this year.

I don't think so. From a fan's perspective, you can't see the backstretch because of the car haulers in the infield unless you sit up high and those are season ticket holders seats.

That show tonight was a joke waste of fuel tires people's time for a 10 lap Main Outlaws are not looking good these days they need to wisen up they only have what about a dozen drivers left most of them just stick around because the Outlaws pay them too
Schedule seems screwed up. Midwest to California then back east. Apparently they will be in Nebraska near the end of the season. How can they afford the fuel and so much time driving back and forth across the country?

Why is that? The fans paid their hard earned money lance said the director of the race did everything in his power to give the fans a race but mother nature superseded. I love the fact they went out there and did what they could under the circumstances, have nothing but respect for an effort like that but hey I'm ol school!!
Not true, was in attendance and was not a drop of rain until about lap 3-4 of the A… nothing concerning about it at all

Exactly! Any time there is a drop of rain, immediately stop the race or you will get results like we have seen with Brent Marks in this race. Drivers safety is far more important then what I make or what hard earned money I earned to pay to see this race. Some fans like another guy in this comment section are just people who only care about themselves. The WOO regular fans in my experience going to races over the years are selfish people that only care about themselves. Always liked the regular PA Posse shows or when the ASCOC comes to PA because we get less A holes for these races when compared to when the WOO come to town. The WOO regular fans that seem to only come around to PA have loads of drunk, arrogant and selfish fans.

I'm sure the WOO officials made that call, not the track. The rest of the weekend looks like a wash so if they didn't call the race complete, then the teams don't get paid the purse money. Only 3 laps short of halfway and LD was running away with it anyhow.

Read that DD, Danny Dietrich, say that the A main shouldn't have been run and that it was too dangerous to drive on his Twitter account. I agree 100% as I have posted earlier. But some race fans said it was OK? Obviously these race fans never drove a race car before. Alot of fans aren't very intelligent if you know what I mean. Just go to the races, especially in the infield or beer hill and you can hear some of the stupid stuff fans are saying. Not sure if it is the alcohol or if they are just plain stupid. When the WOO are around this stupidity by race fans of the WOO shows goes 10 fold.
Now these WOO officials reschedule for October 22nd instead of just rescheduling this for next year for a doubleheader $75,000. Many people scheduled vacation this week but got unlucky due to weather with many of us likely taking vacation next year again. Unfortunately for many like myself October 22nd doesn't work so plenty people like myself won't be at the National Open on October 22nd. Have fun WOO with your National Open race with a smaller crowd watching your race at Williams Grove Speedway. Should have just rescheduled for next year but obviously WOO isn't smart enough to figure this out. Not very good business decision makers are you WOO.

Not only will less people show up on October 22nd because they can't for work reasons or other reasons but some will just skip out because it gets too cold by late October for a night race in PA. I am personally done after the Port Royal WOO weekend which is this week for night racing because it gets way too cold by later October into November for night racing. Only consider day races in the 2nd half of October and November in PA like I do in March as well.
The race not getting finished is the Williams Grove promoter he could of run Thursday and Friday and started earlier than they did what a greedy bastard he wanted it to rain out so he didn't have to pay the purse, I ve never seen a feature called a win after ten laps either you have to be over half way but lance was gonna win anyway
That makes no sense. The Outlaws make the call when they’re in town first of all. Second, since they declared the race official, the purse had to be paid anyway. As a Williams Grove Official, I can tell you the Outlaws run the track and run the show. They make the calls when they’re in town.
@@eaglejoe8 since the race was called official after 10 laps the purse got paid if it wasn't then Williams Grove would of pocketed the money there was no reason the race was run last night it could of run on Thursday and started earlier on Friday than they did the fans would have came it don't matter if it started at noon yesterday
@@curtishoke143 You’re still missing the point. The calls that you’re blaming on the Grove, are made by the Outlaws. You don’t just move races up a day without agreement by both parties. You have no idea what you’re talking about here.
These big events the promoter is the Outlaws..not the track. The track owner has little to no say. And they did move the show up a few hours to avoid the rain.

Are the owners of sports concerned for the safety of the athletes? Apparently not. We saw this yesterday in football with the QB for the Miami Dauphins who shouldn't have been playing from an injury because of issues he had a few days earlier but played him anyway risking his life with these so called team doctors giving him the clearance to play. Now WOO decides to have the race going even though it was raining long before Brent Marks wrecked and we are lucky he didn't get seriously injured. Sports owners need to be taken accounted for when they are more for the holy dollar then they are for the athletes that compete in their sport. WOO obviously wasn't concerned about driver safety tonight and for the fans bitching about not having the race continue all I can say is go blank yourselves.

@@tommyhuff4798 are you blind? You can clearly see it raining long before the wreck. Even light ran or drizzle can be very dangerous to race in for 410 sprint cars or any cars for dirt track racing. The race really shouldn't have even happened but WOO wanted to get something in because tomorrow's race doesn't look likely. Like I said WOO is more concerned about the dollar then it is for driver safety and many fans are more concerned about getting drunk then for driver safety as well.

@@midnight-2021 They DID stop the race for rain...twice. Marks wreck had nothing to do with rain. He drove it in too hard and jumped the cushion. It happens even to the best drivers sometimes.
