I was just thinking this last night as I was looking at the forward frames. They are made out of BS 1088 grade marine ply but even so, I'm soaking them all in epoxy. No reason not to. thanks! Chuck
@@Ddw2164 The half inch stuff is not BS1088 certified as far as I can tell however, all of these parts will be, either fiberglassed with or encased in epoxy so we should be good.
That is a bulbous centerboard and good sized rudder.

Are you planning on using the plywood untreated? If you are encapsulating the wood in epoxy it's not that important that it's marine grade.

I am not sure what “marine grade” plywood means. The key question is whether or not it is BS1088 certified.
