I experienced COVID that lasted a good 11 days. I thought I was ok but I started to notice a loss of more hair than normal. After doing some research, I am realizing it’s from the strain my body had during that time and also the shampoo that I was using. So I started doing yoga and meditation daily and changed my shampoo and conditioner to littleextraa cooconion anti hair fall kit. And today I don't face any hair fall.
Thanks for this video! I feel so much more at peace.

I needed a hair oil that isn’t too sticky and has natural ingredients. The liittllextra coocoonion oil has proven to be excellent so I will order it again. The natural ingredients, such as coconut and rosemary, have reduced my hair fall.

I'm glad that you figured it out. We have hard water in my area also. Something else that may help is to get a filtered showerhead, between that and using a chelating shampoo once a month my hair is doing well even though I have CCCA. This is another whole issue that I'm working on with my dermatologist's help.

I had this issue. I was totally frustrated! My hair was tangled and matted, and wouldn’t fully detangle. The shedding was epic! It was taking hours to detangle when it usually took 10-15 minutes. I tried every treatment known to woman! Nothing worked. For me, it turned out to be major product buildup from using Jamaican Black Castor Oil as my sealant. Protein treatments made it worse. Never again! 😮 I started using a clarifying shampoo, followed by a moisturizing shampoo. Deep conditioned every week. Switched to grape seed oil and started shampooing once a week vs 2-3 times per week. Most frustrating 3-4 months of my life! But here we are. Healthy, happy, thick and curly. Good luck to you. Your hair is beautiful. You are beautiful and thank you for sharing your struggle. 😊❤

Also , sometimes if you're allergic to something, like a food could make your hair shed as well. You would have to monitor what you're intaking in your body. Also , not sure if you do already , but drink alot of water, eat fruits , and vegetables. THis is if you do not already . I found these even besides the hard water that my intake of certain foods affect my hair shedding and growth . Hope that helps !

Ever since I moved to this house a few years ago, my hair had been going crazy 😩 I’m so glad you talked about this! I tried cutting my hair because of thinning, changing my diet and taking supplements, but my hair never got back to how it used to. I figured it was hard water, so I bought a filter for my shower head. Idk if it’s the best, but you mentioning pH strips will definitely help me to determine that! Just wanted to give this tip. My daughters have really long hair as well so I no longer wash loose hair. After the pre pop I only wash and condition her hair in plaits ( not too tight thought). Then I blow dry or style from each plait while the others stay stretched. This has cut down the time drastically!

Glad you were able to find the root cause. I had the same exact thing happen to me with hard water. I bought a shower filter and used a hard water shampoo. It took 1.5 month for my hair to get back to normal. I also experienced thinning due to stress and my hair wasn’t growing back. I started taking a DHT blocker off of Amazon by the brand advanced trichology and my hair started growing in thicker and stronger. Even my stylist noticed and I had bald patches throughout my head. Hope your hair grows back and thrives I know how hard something like this can be. 💕💕

The twists themselves are what's killing your hair. You need a new protective style and you have to switch up the protective styles. Get some Aphogee, good light moisturizer and keep your hair in a satin bun and 2 braids for 3 months. Trust me.

I am new here. I live in the Netherlands and we have hard water here too. Maybe this will sound weird, I went to Curaçao for two weeks with braids in my hair. I went swimming in salt water in the blue beautiful oceans there. One time I dipped my whole body from head to toe in it. I washed my hair the next day and took care of it with grease al over my strands of hair. Normally I would have washed it the same day but, it became to late and I didn't want to sleep with wet hair. When I came back to the Netherlands I instantly bought a water filter, because the sun, sea and shower water there are not hard and it made my skin feel very soft. I took out my braids, detangled and I washed them. I was shocked, because of how soft and manageable my hair was. I think the sea took out all the hard water out of my hair and gave it a type of detox I guess. If you want you can try it. You can also imitate it with distilled water and add seasalt in it. If you are in doubt, you can try a little section to see what will happen. Hope this works wonders on you hair too. Love your video's and I love that you are transparent, your can't do everything on your own. Asking for advice or help should not have to be an issue. Excessive hair tangling is a THING. And I cope w my bald spots by using a dark eyeshadow powder lol. I have 3b/c low porosity, fine to medium strands. Some products that have helped mitigate tangling have been the Mielle babassu and mint deep conditioner, its less effective on my hair now idk why, but when I first started using it literally would melt my tangles away, the Oyin Handmade hair dew leave in conditioner, really softens my hair but is a bit on the heavy side so use sparingly if youre sensitive to oils in your products, and Amazinghairsaviour scalp oil that helps with the baldspots.
