lol. The little orange plate with the saying about the wedding, then 3 weeks after…you couldn’t see it good because of the price sticker. The picture shows a happy couple for the wedding day, and a “grumpy couple” after 3 weeks, when you turn it upside down.
Ohhhhh! Oh my goodness! That’s so funny 😀 thank you for making sense of that for me!
Your decorating theme for your room is I wanna be a grandma! Haha!
So glad you got that pretty valence. I can see it in your kitchen with some of your blue & white china pieces! What a nice store.
Dang the cloche was a GREAT find. Lucky you!
The wedding plate was intended to be humorous. It's all in the way you look at it. On "The Wedding Day" a happy colonial couple beaming at each other, turn it around and "Three Weeks After" they are all frowns. New sub here, thanks for the video!
The n mug is so colorful and pretty.
Those pink baby jars are adorable...lots of get items.!
As always I’ve been enjoying your channel and creativity…
Thank you so much!
Loved the valance you found and that ‘N’ mug is pretty cute 💖
Nice finds! That cloche was such a great grab!
I’m so happy with it!
Doilies are a lost art I feel. Hard to find good ones that aren't too old lady. I like arts and crafts.
Hi Nicole,
So happy to see this video. I just had my second hip replacement done last week and I really needed this. It's always a pleasure to see you. I hope you are able to find the dishes that you are looking for . I'm
Sure you will! Until your next video, may God bless you and your family
And please stay safe and warm.
Feel better soon!!
Omg, the pink baby jars are from the 60s. They were a type of vanity set, for cotton balks and q tips. They had little pink lids and a pink tray that they set on. My mom had this set for me. On a side note my mom's name was also Betty. Today, the Jan 21st is the 9th anniversary of her passing. So this was a sweet memory to see the jars. ( I think I might still have 1 or 2 around)
Aw sweet! I’m sorry for your loss 💕
Flip flop dish is for napkins flip flop keeps them from blowing away
Smart! I like that!
Hi Nicole 💓 I really love ur haul especially ur cute baby jars so vintage thanks always Laura goodnite ❤
Thanks so much!
I liked the valance
Oh my goodness. Stay warm
When I was little my mom had a baby jar with a blue lid she kept cotton balls in and I am seventy Four so it is probably from the 50's
Aw sweet! Thanks for the info!!
Great haul. Love the little jars. So cute 🩷
A real collection of treasure! I loved the mug and can’t wait to see which cross stitch projects you put with the 2 pieces you found 😊
Thank you for taking us thrifting with you 😁
You are so welcome!
Another great video !!!
I got a classic Starbucks mug for only 3 bucks. Now I can pretend I'm drinking expensive coffee at home lol. Thanks for sharing.
Hehe sweet!
Thanks for sharing.
Hi, get 2 shear valances, either white or that color, Blue or dye the blue to match! I think white sheer would be best! Just a thought!
You got the cloche for a steal and I love it. I think the picture frame is beautiful and a counted cross stitch is going to look really nice inside. Fun time thanks for the trip. ❤❤❤
You’re welcome!
You got some really good stuff! Lots of great dishes!
I love the cloche. I always come across the squat ones, yours is higher. I think that valence will look great in your kitchen. Very well stocked thrift store🙂
We are freezing in Virginia with 10 degree temps and you just going about your business as usual 😂. Great video ❤
Hehe-yes we northern folk just keep on going in the cold! Because it’s cold for so long! Although we are having a bit of a warm up-it hit 34 yesterday!
Missed you at the Pink Elephant on Friday. Your booth looks great! I purchased the 2 metal recipe boxes 😉
Oh sweet! Thanks! Yes I went through my collection and got rid of some duplicates :)
The craft isle is the first place I go.
Will a Ball canning lid fit over top of baby jar? At least to keep dust out. Decorate lid, glue bead for handle. Or maybe you can find cork tops. Sugar dish lids. If I really like something I find a way.
Hello Nicole 😊
Hi Holly!
Buys all the mugs you want.
True deja vu! Little green striped bowls in duplicate!
Yes haha! I was so confused!
I thought maybe you'd pour candles in your sweet little jars!
Do you remember when they sold jars with a tray to hold baby supplies?wonder if that is what the jars are for?
Nursery jars for cotton balls, baby cream Q tips etc.
We had one of those baby jars growing up. It had a pink plastic lid. My Mom kept q-tips in it. Not sure if that’s what it came with originally?
You got some cute stuff. Hope you have a blessed week and it’s warmer!
We are having a heat wave! It hit 34 yesterday!
@@NicoleNorthgardenyou’ll be wearing shorts before you know it. lol 😂 brrrr
Found your baby jar set with tray and lids today after I watched your episode this morning. What are the odds huh? lol
That’s wild!
Loved your new curtain.
Glad to see all the silver pieces, never was a brass fan.
Your store had good prices compared to mine.
Loved the terrine
And I love old clocks
Pretty valence
Love the Babyjars
So cute.(I m working on a babyroom)
Thank you for sharing
Some nice finds today. Thanks for sharing x
The blue trim Corelle plate you held, was the set my mom had and now I use them. After my brother and I got a little older my mom graduated from using the melamine type plastic plates, to using Corelle…I guess she finally trusted us not to break them, but since Corelle is pretty hard to break, I don’t think she trusted us too much! 😂. We’ve just gone through for us, a cold spell, I’m in Central FL. but our cold is no where near your cold! I don’t know what I would do in that extreme cold! 🥶. Stay warm. ✌🏼❤️
💞
Hi Nicole, I eat in my living room, in my recliner, so I love the large plates with the side, so my food doesn’t fell off🤣 thank you talking me along 💕🐾💯happy Valentine’s Day 💜
Smart idea!
It looked possibly like a couple Mikasa FC cups hanging by the carousel horse mug. I’ve seen some MFC in another thrift video recently. I’m sure you will find it eventually. I gifted it to my mom one Christmas and now my daughter has it.
Great haul. I wonder if the plastic white lids they make for mason jars would fit on your Baby jars? When I have a jar I like with no lid, I just try different lids from food items until I find one that fits. Then spray paint the lids to be solid color, if there is writing on them or they are an ugly color. I have a slight, unexplainable jar addiction 🤔🤷♀️😒😂
Good idea!
Great fun, thank you.❤ from Australia.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Get a whole different set of dinner ware. I did.
Might have to!
Hi Nicole, that plate that you said looked like a bowl is actually called a dinner bowl. I bought a set of dishes from a German lady and she said the deep plates were called dinner bowls.
Oh interesting! Thanks!
I have those baby jars also & mine came with no lids. I use them in my vday decor
Sweet idea!
What is the name of the thrift store and where is it located?
Ablelight in Minnetonka, MN
All woven and coiled baskets are handmade. They haven’t invented a basket making machine.
Sorry! Yes I meant not mass produced, like maybe woven by a smaller maker.
