I was able to decode the manufacture date. This was manufactured in late November of 1984.

Hello! I recently acquired an apple lisa 2 i m not a lisa expert and i wanted to ask if you know the reason why this can happen
I think it s a common problem, so i wanted to ask you about.
Once i turned on the computer for first time, the computer turned on without any problem, the screen trembled a little bit, but anyway, perfect for a computer from 1983.
Today i decided to clean a little bit the computer boards and i took out the boards and power supply and after bringing everything back to its site with a lot of care, nothing cracked.
The power supply makes this tick tick tick noise and it doesn’t turn on. The thing is that that sound it only can be heard when you keep the power button pressed, do you know what can it be? It should be easy to fix because I didn’t changed anything, just disassembly and again to its place
Thanks from Barcelona , my powerbook 170 was repaired thanks to this channel,

What a wonderfully over-engineered piece of design! Fascinating.

Why are all of these old macintosh machines yellow?

It used to be white, but the bromine in the plastic yellows as it ages. There are ways to whiten the plastic again but it's only temporary.

No these Lisa/XLs were beige! They were never really a pure white.
