The sheet music may quite possibly not exist. But I'll try and contact the composer himself, Andreas Kolvangsnes, and let you know. He is responsible for quite a few very nice tunes (search his name here on youTube...)
A.K. tells me that, unfortunately, there is no sheet music available. But he suggests that you check out "gammeldansorkesteretgalder" on myspace, where he has uploaded, amongst other tunes, "Leiflender". Best regards, diatonix
Hi, Great video, I wondered if you had the name of the 1st tune that Norill plays, It sounds a bit like our Scottish music and I would like to learn it, Thanks
Thanks for that info diatonix, I've came across a lot of Norwegian music that sounds similar to Scottish traditional music! Any help would be appreciated, Bob
Brilliant! I don't know what happens in Norway but the sadness here in Britain is that children no longer seem to learn the old tunes or use the traditional instruments.
Well - if it cheers you up - we're teaching our 14 year old son to play the mandolin and the melodeon, with our family barn dance band. (We're in the UK).
Fantastisk toraderspil!
Tack att finns unga som kan spela. Hoppas att fler kommer att gilla denna musik.
