ISFJs and ISTJs are traditionally because "new" is scary
Extroverted Intuition. Inferiors are anxious about bad consequences looming in the future, other people's intentions, and not being desirable to others. So ISTJs and ISFJs have a fear of what is possible. This is part of why they can come across as so traditional. They're protecting against anxiety about the future, so they're often scared of people's destructive and reckless intentions as well. So then they can isolate and be a little bit avoidant of others. And Ne inferior means that ISTJs and ISFJs are afraid that they're not wanted by others. So in order to compensate for that, they go out of their way to maintain their health, their strength, and their vitality well into their age.

Aaaand that's why they're soo devoted on religious traditions and enforcing those on others so they can both directly and indirectly gain control in their lives. Even if the traditions serve them in the expense of others' lives.

I'm not opposed to 'possibilities'..I welcome and embrace the idea of 'possibilities', in general. I'm not 'traditional'...I have a heathy respect for certain traditions but don't really care for 'traditions' in the way SJ' s do. The only thing that resonates w/ me when it comes to Si doms...is long-term memory. Ive been typed ISTP, tested INTJ and INFJ. Nothing fully fits. Frustrating.
