Cadence winning music is on point, though Astral Chain has excellent music too.
When I started listening to this, I didn't expect to be so in for Astral Chain, but it's a new IP and was fantastic in practically every measure for me.

Honestly, Luigi's Mansion 3 is one of the best co-op experiences I've had.my friend I just had fun destroying the hotel and getting gold, and I found the moments where we discussed how to figure out each puzzle to be very engaging as well.

Arian San Finally a Golden Deer supporter. Totally agree. Three Houses dominated in it’s nominations and it is well deserved.
The only other game I know of that has ever made this much of a comeback is Minecraft. Glad to see us Golden Deer getting back together.

Ikr? It had a couple different categories it could've in, too; bright idea, glorious graphics (like, really???), soundtrack, game of the year (though that one I'll admit would be toughest of all, lots of goodies there)

If there were an action game category, I'm sure it would've easily won it. I know on the graphics category, I was debating between astral chain and luigis mansion, but when I took into account just how detailed the graphics are in LM 3 I just had to give it to that game. I mean you could see the individual threads that made up the "L" on luigi's cap.
Personally, Astral Chain is my Game of the Year. Of course in this set of awards it doesn't really help Astral chain that Fire emblem is a much much MUCH more mainstream franchise now. And with these categories being solely popularity based, a more niche title like Astral Chain had little to no chance.

Astral Chain especially had an incredible OST.
I felt that Astral Chain should have gotten Sweetest Graphics, but more people played LM3 than AC. Actually, not enough people playing Astral Chain in general pretty much guaranteed that it wouldn't win anything.
Play Astral Chain please. It's a new IP with a lot of potential.
Potential? Who cares about IP potential it's just an awesome game on its own. One of the most fun games of the year.

True, but IP potential refers to how it can get sequels that help to establish the world, the characters and make it into another household Nintendo name like what happened with Fire Emblem and Xenoblade. Astral Chain is amazing, and I know for a fact that its sequels will greatly improve upon its foundation, but it'd really be a shame if the IP was left rather ignored by potential fans.

Fire Emblem Three Houses more than deserved to win! It was soooo good and the fact that it won best story was no surprise because in my honest opinion Fire Emblem games usually have great story's!
I’m glad Fire Emblem won Most Sensational Story it definitly deserves it compared to DQ11 S Dimitri’s route is easily the best example I can give!!!!

Because its nintendo did you not see everything that was nominated it is exclusive or it was some time exclusive to the platform, and every game that won in these categories were either nintendo exlusives or had content exclusive ti the nintendo switch. And of course its just a way for them to promote their games.

Fire Emblem defeated Pokémon in both of the categoríes their in... Including the last one. In other words: Anna outhroned Pikachu as the Queen of 2019.

@@hun3408 Nah, I'm good with Three Houses. I'll try those games in the future if I want to, but as of right now, neither of those games captured my interest much and I'm sticking with Three Houses. There's nothing wrong with having your own opinion, but don't try and force it on others.

Why was Astral Chain not a nominee for soundtrack? Just seems a bit strange. Of course, I didn’t play the other nominees besides cadence, but I believe the best soundtracks are FE:3H, Astral Chain, and Cadence of Hyrule

Ok so I’ve never played fire emblem, but from what ive heard, I thought there were 3 play throughs, once for each house. What is the 4th play through?
Also I’m getting the game for Xmas and I’m super exited! Any tips for someone who’s never played one of these games? Also, which house do you guys recommend?

Any recommendations for the first house I choose?
For the decision on which house to choose, I'd say it's best to make that choice yourself because all three of them are great and it just comes down to personal preference on which to do first.
As for other tips: there are two modes in Three Houses called Casual and Classic. In Classic mode, fallen units do not return for the rest of the game, whereas in Casual, they return after the battle in which they fell. Classic mode is my preference because the stakes in each chapter are raised, but it might be daunting for some new players, in which case Casual is better. I believe this setting can be changed mid-game, however.
Finally, I would recommend avoiding Master Classes, which is the highest tier of classes in the game, because they have very few of them with some strange skill requirements for each.

Untitled Goose Game is overrated, really. It's super cute and charming but I don't see how it can beat some of the other competitors in these specific categories. Not saying it's terrible but I'm sad because imho better games are being overshadowed by the pop culture darling.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is best game. Sw and Sh is trash for what other games have done before it.
Sword and Shield are nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be, however it is disappointing. Mainly due to Dexit.
@@heinzdoofenshmirtz8643 true, but I personally am holding it to BotW, Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, and LM3 standards, and it nowhere meets them for me. The animations in Sw and Sh look lifeless imo, LM3 has Pixar level animations that are very appealing to me.
