- Are sales funnels dead? Do you need one of those all in one $297/mo funnel builders to make money online? This video reveals the truth that the gurus are afraid to tell you.
My top landing page builder that I recommend is LeadPages: www.milesbeckler.com/leadpages
Aweber - www.milesbeckler.com/aweber
The full 'How to get started email marketing for Free with Aweber' post I mentioned is here: www.milesbeckler.com/how-to-g...
If you're a wordpress user and you want to keep building on Wordpress, I highly recommend Thrive Architect landing page builder plugin!
Thrive Architect is here: www.milesbeckler.com/architect
I show how to setup a landing page with Thrive Architect here: • Thrive Architect Updat...
Ok, if you want to go with a shopping cart, I recommend either SamCart or Thrivecart.

www.milesbeckler.com/thrivecart
If you're not sure which one is best for you, definitely go through my SamCart vs thrivecart video where I compare the two options in detail here: • SamCart vs ThriveCart ...
Also, you can access all of my sales funnel videos here - • My $1M Funnels Reveale...
I explain the basics of sales funnels... What they are and how they work.
Plus you'll learn how to structure your offers to work in a sales funnel no matter what tech you use.
And that's the real key here...
It doesn't matter what tech stack you use to build out your sales funnel... Because all in all it's just a series of pages.
But, you will find that you'll convert more leads and more customers when you embrace sales funnels (even if you use a simple landing page builder)
The tech is NOT what will drive your conversions.
Making great offers and having great sales copy on each and every page is the key.

Thanks for being honest. I’m trying to start out without being stripped of my money. God Bless
My pleasure
How about a playlist for the video subjects
Thanks for this. Very informative. Is this more time consuming or can you outsource this to get this done?
Once again, Miles delivers the goods! I always find a way to get inspired either watching or listening along with your podcasts. As usual, well done Sir! Question: you mentioned both SC and TC have an LMS. Which one do you find more 'beefy'? If I want to create and offer courses, etc. for example.
Samcart is a bit easier to use and make look pretty/professional. TC can feel a tiny bit more clunky. Both are bulletproof and work like an old 1980's Mercedes turbodiesel that'll run for 500,000 miles.
Im a noob and among the apps you mentioned i didnt hear shopify. I have a shopify website. Where does that website come in in the funnel above? Oe that would be a separate thing?
Hey Miles, great video! I'm considering Thrive Cart & will use your link when I buy. One question, what do you think of Podia as a landing page builder? I am considering it as it comes with email automation and allows you to sell digital products and courses, but more wanting your perspective of using it as a landing page builder. Thanks!
I'm not a fan. I know several people who used it and have since migrated away. I'd recommend leadpages or Architect... and aweber or activecampaign for email.
Could you use ActiveCampaign as your landing page builder and email provider? Why would you pay an extra $49 for lead pages landing page builder when Active Campaign has a landing page builder? Cheers
This maybe a stupid question but why would I not use stripe for my sales cart rather than thrive or Sam cart?
Stripe connects with the shopping carts. They give you important features like the ability to do bump offers and upsells while controlling the design to maximize revenue.
Hi Miles I know what your talking about. Since I've been a member of Blog Marketing Academy and David Risley has the same philosophy it's this reason why I know that what your talking about is true. I have an idea for what pieces I could string together. There's also so many new platforms or software created all the time. David Risley is no longer a fan of ThriveThemes and Thrive Cart. I have ThriveCart.
One Question: What stack set up do you use promoting products as an affiliate (not including the actual tools your using in the stack) vs selling a product or service?
90% of my affiliate commissions come from an email, a blog post or UA-cam description. Every tool has its annoyances and challenges in the long run. There is no perfect tool
@@MilesB Thanks Miles. Good answer!
WordPress all the way
👍
I like the idea of separating functions. Minimising disruptions due to company changes is definitely important! FYI, I noticed a missing 'b' in the Aweber link you provided in the description.
I appreciate the heads up
I think this is a fair take!
If I was building a strictly online business, then I would keep things decentralized 100%.
Personally, I use GHL for clients that are local brick and mortar businesses, but I don't build the websites on GHL, and we don't really focus on email for them.
Mainly I use GHL for the call/text system for local businesses because they all suck at responding to calls. Its kind of been a perfect marriage with Local SEO.
Also I 100% hate the affiliate hype that GHL has, and they certainly try to do wayyy too many things but it works for my use case.
I wouldn't recommend GHL to anyone that is in build mode. The learning curve is too steep and there are too many shiny objects. Stay focused and keep things simple!
Great comment and a welcome addition to the conversation. Thank you for sharing your take
Genius
Thanks
Thrive, thrive ... I thought you gave up on thrive, or is that some other platform called thrive something..
My milesbeckler.com site is still on Thrive. Don't use architect anymore, upgraded to leadpages
Aweber originated email marketing?? lol I don’t think so brother
Name a consumer focused email marketing tool that launched before aweber.
