I want to add a comment here. I know Chad titled the video “the right way” but the beauty is there really is no correct answer. Don’t be afraid to find your own voice and experiment with what works best for you. These are merely the techniques I enjoy employing

When I told my guitar teacher that I wanted to shred, he told me that anybody can shred if they put the time into learning patterns and techniques, but not everybody can play a slow lead like David Gilmour and the Blues greats. Fast is impressive but guys like BB King, Gilmour, and Hubert Sumlin... You feel that shit.

Funny story my parents were a couple of pot heads and named me after Eric Clapton. Weird that I actually ended up playing...lol

Hmmm - vibratos are not no unique between players - though a few signature styles BB King and Clapton.. This is not really a lesson on how to learn vibrato but examples of vibrato once you already know how.
Took me years to nail that pull-off bend/vibrato. Multiple strings with a wild 2 step bend is another hard one that's great to mix in on the wild stuff.

You use the light strings right?
10-46 usually, on Stratocasters I like to run 11-46 tuned down 1/2 step. I like to keep the bass strings slinky
