Hi, I’m fairly new to the Lishi world but isn’t this kinda always the case with every Lishi? Once you pick a wafer you know that wager’s cut, not? Not trying to be a know it all but just wondering.
Great video..helped me with a door lock on a Toyota land cruiser 2010. I found this easier than normal lishi opening and decoding. Can you tell me how to know what car locks can be a direct reader scenario .? Or somewhere I can see that. Thanks again ..I am always watching your videos. Cheers Paul
The Lishi company asked me to make this video. This is the only lock I’m aware of that can be direst read this way with a pick and not a direct reader.
yes they are. passenger lock or driver lock if no passenger lock. on the old style lexus the locks arent modular though so you would need to take the door panel apart get to the code.
@@BoredLockpicker if you don't mind me asking how does the toy48 blades work on these cars but not the lishi? Also can the hy22 direct read. I'm kinda intimated by it and the toy48 lishi lol
Look at the two. You could probably pick either lock either either too but you don’t be able to decode. The spacing and depth are different on the systems.
@@BoredLockpicker Oh okay that makes sense. Doesn't matter if the keys are the same if a 2-cut is different in kia and Toyota. So there is a chance I could pick it with the wrong lishi but decoding wouldn't work.
This worked on a 2002 Lexus RX300 Today, All Wafers Were Springy,
Second Test Key Worked. Way Faster Than Picking. Great, Thanks.
You’re welcome

This one can be direct read without picking.

All you great videos has saved me tons of time working with Lishi tools.
Thanks for all your help.
Henry Ford I don’t think so. A gentleman at Lishi told me about this and asked me to make the video. He did mention any others that work this way.
Are the key codes on Lexus locks as on Toyota ones?
yes they are. passenger lock or driver lock if no passenger lock. on the old style lexus the locks arent modular though so you would need to take the door panel apart get to the code.
@@BoredLockpicker what about a 2005 Lexus rx330 is the key code on the lock ?
@@eddcolocho6321 yep. But you probably have to pull the door panel
@@BoredLockpicker thanks
