But 400 people coming together, no matter race, religion, ethnicity, young or old, to celebrate the life that was snuffed out too soon. It’s beautiful! Thank you to the creator of this page and to the 400 that participated, thank you. I have a new song to listen to.😊
Not as late as I am. But you're absolutely right with the word wholesome. There's something about seeing this huge, perfectly synched crowd ranging from little kids to older headbangers just pouring their hearts into this tribute that brings a tingle to the heart. A good tingle.
It's unbelievable that as of yesterday Chester has been gone for 6 years. I literally broke as soon as I found out he passed away. Thank you for bringing us so many touching meaningful songs. RIP Chester Bennington.
I find it amazing that it takes nearly 40-50 people singing at the top of their lungs to get even close to being able to fill the space that his voice did. Brought a tear to my eyes. RIP Chester. You are forever loved.

I've not been able to get through it without bawling my eyes out. I'm just out of hospital after doing something stupid and I was totally unprepared for what this video brought to me emotionally. Thank you to all and everything involved in this wonderful post. RIP Chester.
The cynical part of me says it was just the vocal track playing in the background. The logical part of me says because we know what Chester sounded like, there is enough variation in the voices that they cover his vocal range, and our brains are tricking us with what we want to hear. The part of me that still gets emotional if I think on Chester too much, and has made it that I can't really listen to LP anymore says he was there, singing in the crowd, because he knows, somewhere, how much he means to all of us, and he's saying he's not fully gone. F**k, I'm gone. Requiescat in pace, Chester. 😥
Can we just take a breathtaking moment out of our lives to think about how 1 man is the reason why so many people are still alive today and is the reason why incredible events like this can happen (RIP Chester)

When I lived in Japan, i was setting up a new cable box, and a technician had to come in. The apartment was really small, so there was that awkward air where he didn't want to impose, and I didn't want to be in his way. When I said I was from Canada, he asked if I like Metal. When I said yes, he asked if I know Linkin Park. We chatted for literally 30 minutes with VERY little shared language beyond the members names, song titles and loosely hummed lyrics.

this gives me chills. i got into LP when i was 14, and i was truly in a dark place. my social life was messed up beyond belief, my family didnt understand what was wrong with me, i was angry and sad all the time because i was so lonely. and while most of the other music that i listened to like slipknot or disturbed only breeded my anger and loneliness further, Linkin Park really gave me hope. on so many days when i was sad and angry at the world, i would put in my headphones at night and i would either listen to Breaking The Habit or New Divide and everything would be better. when i found out the my boi Chester Bennington killed himself, i was so sad and it felt like a part of me was gone. well a few years have gone past and i got better. i joined the football team and made a lot of freinds there and i got happier. well a few weeks ago Linkin Park found a song in their archives and so i listened to it. it was Lost. but for the first time, i couldnt relate to chester, because i wasnt lost myself anymore. i broke the habit because of my heros mike shinoda and chester bennington, and im so glad for that. well anyway thanks for reading this and if your going through anything share it in the reply thing and tell me and other people about it. 🤘

Drummers ability to carry /match perfect beat with so many others is incredible...amazing tribute that spans all the generations !
They're all playing to a click track. Due to the speed of sound everyone would be out of sync if they listened to each other since they're all so spread out.
@ATSaale wow didn't even think of that. Very cool thanks for the insight
@@PenguinDynasty mythbusters did an experiment with a huge crowd of people. First they use the PA to tell everyone to jump, and you could see a wave start from the front to the back of the crowd. Then they did the same thing but told everyone to jump when they saw a bright light on the stage and everyone jumps at the same time. Really cool experiment really shows the speed of sound visually when you see the people all jumping in a wave coming back
@ATSaale solid point. I noticed they were all using the headphones to stay in sync but I didn't think of a click track being used.
Chester would be SO PROUD! Absolutely BADASS!
I was never hardcore into their music, I did listen back in highschool. But when you see a community do a tribute like this. If only this man really knew, how many lives he touched...❤ from young to old, everyone paid their respects to Chester, and the band.
I'd definitely suggest you to go back and listen to his music on good headphones with a good dac. You won't be dissapointed. Today's songs albiet good doesn't hit that class which the songs of the past hits.

Not as late as I am. But you're absolutely right with the word wholesome. There's something about seeing this huge, perfectly synched crowd ranging from little kids to older headbangers just pouring their hearts into this tribute that brings a tingle to the heart. A good tingle.

True 😱 I thought I heard his voice singing along with the crowd 😮😮😮
The cynical part of me says it was just the vocal track playing in the background. The logical part of me says because we know what Chester sounded like, there is enough variation in the voices that they cover his vocal range, and our brains are tricking us with what we want to hear.
The part of me that still gets emotional if I think on Chester too much, and has made it that I can't really listen to LP anymore says he was there, singing in the crowd, because he knows, somewhere, how much he means to all of us, and he's saying he's not fully gone.
F**k, I'm gone. Requiescat in pace, Chester. 😥

The lightning all around me
I remembered each flash
As time began to blur
Like a startling sign
That fate had finally found me
And your voice was all I heard
That I get what I deserve
So give me reason
To prove me wrong
To wash this memory clean
Let the floods cross
The distance in your eyes
Give me reason
To fill this hole
Connect this space between
Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies
Across this new divide
There was nothing in sight
But memories left abandoned
There was nowhere to hide
The ashes fell like snow
And the ground caved in
Between where we were standing
And your voice was all I heard
That I get what I deserve
So give me reason
To prove me wrong
To wash this memory clean
Let the floods cross
The distance in your eyes
Across this new divide
In every loss, in every lie
In every truth that you'd deny
And each regret, and each goodbye
Was a mistake too great to hide
And your voice was all I heard
That I get what I deserve
So give me reason
To prove me wrong
To wash this memory clean
Let the floods cross
The distance in your eyes
Give me reason
To fill this hole
Connect this space between
Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies
