That Hayate at the end must have impressed the American testers.
TommyTwobats my Favorite plane is The a6m zero/Reisen/zeke I Want to ride it if i had a work
I wish philipine air force had the A6m2 Reisen zero
Those captured fighters could be preserved but the winner warriors preferred to destroy them...
Powerfull motor but low performance and Quality .
Fascinating! It’s interesting to hear a period American commentary on what they think of the Japanese aircraft and equipment. 👍🇯🇵
Quite funny they were already talking about Molotov cocktails all over the world by then. It would be interesting to know what the Soviet foreign minister himself thought of the sarcastic term.
I have never read of booby traps in abandoned equipment in the Pacific Theater. Anyone know of any incidents ?

これは貴重な映像ですね👏
MT. ARAYAT!!!!!!
Those planes must be a free real estate for our Philippine Air Force but we didn't
Loved the fact they gave the American moniker, too bad they didn't associate it with the Japanese numeric designation. Great video, Thanks HistoryFlicks4U!
That look a japanese p-47
can't wait to unlock the Ki84 Frank in war thunder. BANZAI !
What he says about the "Frank" (Hayate) is essentially true. It was one of the great fighter aircraft of WWII.
I'm a Filipino
Is the image of Japan bad in the Philippines?
If about history yes
If about the good shit today like food and anime
No
where are they now?
Where they belong, on a trash heap somewhere.
One of the Ki-84 Franks survived and is now in a museum in Japan after having been restored in the US.
@@stevehammond9156 You should learn the concept of recycling. An airplane has aluminium, steel, and a little copper. Valuable materials ready to be smelted and reused by the industry.
@@stevehammond9156 A piece of history is still a piece of history; plus, the planes themselves are not the human beings who dictated terrible inhumane crimes...

Correct, I agreed totally with you.
