I tried the rose gold green face on at AP House & the dial looks black in most lights. I think the watch new was was £27,000 plus some shekels in 2022. In my opinion interest rates hikes doesn’t affect my willingness to buy( do many people finance a watch?) however in the current market just like you dealers want, you have to buy at the right price & there’s no doubt confidence in the current market is at a low despite whoever you hear trying to bolster the prices. When we knew we were parking large sums of money in watches that could easily be liquidated or heaven forbid go up then confidence to spend was high, now the reality is very few dealers want to shell out on high value watches unless they are at a ridiculously low price & we all realise that a lot of the dealers we thought had very deep pockets are just wide boy chancers & that’s the honest truth & that’s no disrespect to yourselves only you know your financial position but this market is finding people out. Keep up the good content I write my comments with respect for you.

I just looked & they were asking £79,000 but have dropped to £74,000 which in my opinion is way too high. If you were trying to sell it you would be lucky to get £40,000 & I bet dealers would only take it on consignment.
This would be a great buy if it was under retail. Prices are still dropping like a rock. I would hate to buy it now knowing it will be at least 20 percent cheaper by June 2024. Too many new watches coming. Interest rates are killing demand. The cheap money and free money has dried up so these watches are not worth more than retail at best. Plenty available on the internet on various platforms. So why try to catch a falling 🔪
That’s one view. Another view is it’s an anniversary piece. A fantastic addition to any collection. Market is actually holding up quite well atm. Buyers today are buying more for love than investment. I’m not saying investment doesn’t play a part but it’s not the primary decision maker. The love of a beautiful timepiece is playing a huge factor when choosing to buy.
