i know im asking randomly but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
The 6th thing you need to know: it's terribly overpriced at $1999.99 retail. Would rather spend a $1000 on an electric and another $1000 on an acoustic or probably more like $500 on each and get something that sounds as good or better than the acoustasonic.
I agree with you statement. I think it sounds great. But my opinion is that the acoustasonic is designed to get acoustic tones but keeping the feel of an electric. But my BOSS AC-3 does a great job achieving this. I think it's great that you can use it to produce drum like beats by tapping the body. So I think it would be great for street musicians with a loop pedal. But my opinion is you could buy a good telecaster for less than 1000, BOSS AC3 for 100 and a good loop pedal and save alot of money. But different strokes for different folks.
Another thing that I think that you should note about the Fender Acoustosonic Stratocaster is that It has some of the same features as Barry Gibb’s guild s4ce. It’s got the mahogany neck, the rosewood fingerboard and even Fishman Under-Saddle Transducer pickup. I was taking a look at the specs of this Fender guitar and the specs on the Guild S4BG (Barry Gibb guitar) and to be fair some of the specs are actually quite similar.
Joe, you nailed it - excellent points - I have been using this guitar direct on solo gigs along with a subtle pad of a Boss SY300 and it fulfills the sounds in my head - haters gonna hate but I love this guitar. Thanks for your video.
The Acoustasonic’s have been out for a while now. A couple of things to observe; no, you cannot buy one for under $700 and yes, they have remained really popular. I acquired my A-Jazzmaster for one reason only, I wanted an instrument that would give me really nice acoustic tones without playing an actual acoustic instrument (which I never liked, with few exceptions). Mine does that in spades.
Dude I’ve watched a few videos of this and honestly it all feels so payed off because the thing doesn’t sound that good at all in any of the settings but everyone seem to love it
A stereo switcher is mentioned at one point to separate the “electric”and “acoustic” output paths to different amps/sources. Is this a pedal or a TRS to double mono cable like I would use with a Parker Fly? Is the output jack on the Acoustasonic stereo/mono, or do you need a pedal switcher like the Little Lehle ll looper/switcher.
Love the warm tone and the lively sound for the harmony especially for the higher strings which I find so inspiring as a guitarist/composer, "nasty in good way" as Joe puts it as great descriptor. It sounds so nice for moderate tempos and melodies played at the speed.
Has that same faux acoustic sound that is a real drag. The electric sounds are ok, though. The price (2000$) is pretty steep, IMO. Buy a nice acoustic AND a nice electric for that kind of bread and call it a day. To each their own.
Could you please tell me your set-up? Amp and pedals (e.g. Line 6 HX Effects Guitar Effects). I just bought this guitar and want your tone so bad! Thanks!
Looks gorgeous, can't see a single practical use case for it. Haven't heard of any bands making use of them yet, but we might be surprised in the future!
@@opensourceq I know, just wondering how you can run ads, with ads before and after the ad, and it doesn't say anywhere that this includes paid promotion
If you’re a gigging/touring/session player, this certainly would be handy. I’m not a performing player rather a studio guy, so as much as I want this, I don’t need it.
I'm glad these weren't around in 1994 cause kurt certainly would have tried to use or for unplugged and we wouldnt have the unplugged performance that came from a Martin into some pedals.
@@Mhurlohcke I'm fully aware what he liked and didn't like. My point was that for unplugged he wanted to use effects on "his" acoustic (the martin D18e with DeArmond pups) and it was a compromise with MTV. If the tele version or jazzmaster version of the acoustasonics was out he likely would have used one at least on The Man Who Sold The World. We have a lot of great music that might not be the same if these were around. Instruments are great at what they are made for but when you start trying to get multiple sounds from one instrument you start compromising the integrity of each of the sounds. I build electric guitars and guitar pedals. And while I love my girls I wired for PARTIAL splits I also know that they shine and sound best as full humbuckers. Now full splits on the other hand are useless and theres a reason people dont like coil splits. For example when PRS decided to design humbuckers that sound good split you ended up with a humbucker that isnt ideal and a split coil sound that isnt ideal. Granted neither are bad on any way. Again, I'm just saying it's best to use a hammer to drive a nail instead of using a large heavy screwdriver.
Looks great! I've enjoyed seeing the first rounds of the Acoustasonic series -- very interesting designs, the sounds seem great, etc. -- and I already thought they'd be pretty fun to play and own. This one, though, catches my eye much stronger. For whatever reason (and, yes, of course I know all these things are subjective), it just looks better. Love the headstock, for example, and the JM shape just looks super cool in this configuration. Will definitely look into one of these!
Way overpriced. You can get three great guitars at that price. You cant even use it properly for anything rock or blues since it's got acoustic strings. On top of that this thing pops up everywhere on youtube, i think fender sent it to every guitar related channel. It's slowly becoming hateful to see this guitar. It's getting worse than those wealth simple trade commercials 🙂
from what i could hear in this video it sounds HORRIBLE through an amp!???? i´m guessing this instrument is best to plug it directly into the mixer......... hopefully is a sound that I would be happy with....... i think maybe for some electronic music with some interesting effect pedals this could be interesting
From what I see and hear it sounds very Tiny or treble not enough Bass or body to sound like a Gibson Jazz hallowed guitar Maybe good for French type jazz chords only guitar My opinion anyway I like a more bass type sound or Spanish guitar
Fender sending this shit to every youtuber on the planet trying to make a sense for this guitar. It sucks, in the look, in the sound, in the feeling, in the playability. The true Fender spirit actually lives only in the Custom Shop. Fender Usa Is dead. Period.
Id much more be interested in an acoustasonic bass to be honest...a decent acoustic bass tone blended with a P bass would be amazing!
that's an idea you should sell to fender
Guitar is being oversaturated. We need better acoustic basses in smaller forms
Good fricking idea
I'm not even a bass player and that seems to me like the next logical thing to do.
i know im asking randomly but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account?

This guitar has appeared everywhere this week ,

Acoustasonic is simply out of budget for almost everyone.

So true
Totally agree. This does nothing well. The cheapest acoustic or electric guitar is going to sound better. It's just a good looking art piece.
@@gregs3173 Do you like the look of them? I think the burst is the nicest looking out of them. But they dont really appeal to me visually.
I like these a lot, I just wish they were cheaper. If they made a MIM version of it, I think a lot of people would buy one instantly
Now available :) A "Player" series of a couple of the acoustasonics!
They are the same priced as a used American
The MIM Player version of the Tele is better than the American in my opinion- the lofi tone is wonderfully dirty.

How does this sound unplugged? Is there any acoustic qualities or does it just sound like a solid body electric? Thanks.
Seems pretty cool! Would be even better as a 12-string!

Will there be a left handed model? There’s no lefty Strat version, and i have never been a t-style fan, so the tele version isn’t for me...
Exactly!!! For the creative-minded, this is a no-brainer. To be able to sit at your console with this is a workflow dream.

How does it sound through an amp? Do you need an acoustic amp and electric amp, because the frequency requirement is quite different???
This demo is through an amp.
@@SinnetSongs the acoustic says direct
I wonder if there is Distortion sound knob on the fender acoustasonic jazzMaster guitar if I want that guitar for recording studio.

I think Deff Leppard used one of the acoustic strat
Jack White uses one
Well it does a psychedlic kyuss type sound
Yeah The Raconteurs recorded a good amount of Help Us Stranger on the Tele
They've been out for a while now, so probably not.
Good show! ....what amp are you running through, mate? Would you use a Fender Acoustasonic amp?
I don’t even want to know how expensive this thing is.
I’m totally getting one of these! Thanks for the great video!
Ola just made this CHUG!! 🤣
USA Fender Acoustasonic. Very helpful. Thank you.
Nice lesson on the fender acoustic🎵 Do you recommend this guitar for flamenco rock?🎵

Joe rocks. Fender rocks
You can use a realizer pedal for that jazzmaster tremolo sound
I own one, great pedal

I have never wanted a guitar so bad in my life like I want this one
Sweet
But the price is no, its overpriced aaaaaa
It's important to know that an acoustasonic doesn't have a tremolo system...?
Was cynical at first but pleasantly surprised by the sounds here
One thing i know for sure : i want one (but not in blue...)
Fender should know that if they want everyone to share the vision for their out of the world idea. Maybe make it less than 2k.
This is nothing but an expensive wall hanging decoration for some doctor's man cave.
