I finally purchased a full face of makeup from a high-end Chinese beauty brand, Florasis. Florasis is known for their ornate beautiful packaging that has captured so many peoples' attention. Upon receiving this makeup, I was really disappointed with the packaging in person. Most of the packaging felt cheap and hollow. Definitely looked better online. Let's see how the actual makeup applies and wears throughout the day.

12:00 Chinese, Japanese, and Korean makeup and beauty product companies/brands are known mostly for having natural looking makeup so the mascara is doing its part by lengthening and darkening your eye lashes. I don't think this brand is meant for high glam, more like the minimalist or natural look. 12:28 for the price range I think I'd prefer the money to be put into the quality of the makeup rather then the quality of the packaging so I'd settle for cheap kids-like packaging as long as 1. the product is phenomenal and 2. the packaging does it's job by keeping the product safe and intact.
The orangey-red center shade in the eyeshadow palette is actually a blush, which is why it's so much larger and less pigmented than the other shades.
I do not know why you do not like the packaging. I have lots of things from Florasis and they are stunning, product quality is too high. I bought a new contour palette and it is the best for my skin tone. It melts in my skin and is so so natural looking. I think it is one of the best makeup companies on the market ❤️
I've seen their ads. packaging is so beautiful to look at but i myself would never spend that much on makeup when the reviews are so mixed on their formula. i will live vicariously through Mila 😆💄
I think most Westerners won’t really appreciate the pigmentation/ quality of the makeup because Asians don’t wear thick eyeshadows, blushes and lipsticks. They wear more natural looks unless they’re doing editorials or modeling, in general.
Some of the lipsticks from certain countries are popping, they look like you have fruit juice lipstick lol
the mascara brush is like this because asian lashes are way thinner and finer compared to caucasians. A lot of mascara will form clumps on asian lashes coz the mascara is too thick and the brush is transferring too much product on the thin lashes, thats why the one with pink package works a bit better for you since it's a normal brush
Fun fact 15:19 The chinese brands lipstick packaging is based off of their chinese padlocks. They are very cool and pretty, very intricate. Most have very intricate designs on them but they are not very secure since the "key" is basically a long thin straight piece that it used to push the lock mechanism on the inside open - unlike the american keys where they have unique teeth on every individual key mouth.
Eh, after watching lock picking lawyer I consider most locks to be decorative xD good enough for kids looking for a bad rush not enough for someone having a bit of knowledge and few tools.
This stuff is so beautiful that I would be scared to use it!!
This packaging would look nice on the vanity in my guest room which has a peacock theme. Just decor, not to use lol.

The packaging is stunning and the eyeshadows are beautiful. You can definitely see a difference between the primer side and the one without.

You see the commercials for this and it just makes you want to hand them your credit card because it's just so beautiful, but then you watch an honest review like yours, and it puts you off because the quality just isn't there. Thank you for taking the plunge for us Milana. Lol
This was great review. You are to the point and thorough. I really liked the eye look, especially up to the first check in. It's too bad that it didn't last. I'd be interested to see the brown eyeliner, perhaps the pigmentation shows up better/differntly? Maybe a video with final thoughts on multiple 1st opinion videos?

As a Chinese I can tell you this is not high end, it's actually one of the more criticized brands, it's just other brands didn't bother sending out pr to western reviewers

FANCY packaging. Guess this is an important quality of the make up you’d buy in China. your eyes are very pretty to me. Chinese woman use a very natural look it seems on youtube and in Movies.

I do want to say that I did buy a lipstick from this brand which at the time had a 25% discount and free shipping to Dubai. I was intrigued by all this beautiful packaging and I don't own too much makeup but I know enough that packaging can only make u happy for the first 2 maybe 3 applications after that it's just one of ur products. So I decided that since it's the packaging then where can I show this packaging to others and my answer...u only reapply lipstick in public. So I purchased one of the lipsticks, mine is the blue gold packaging and it's a matte finish. While I'm happy with the colour and the longevity I won't be purchasing more just because almost every single shade of lipstick they have is red tone. Also while the eyeshadow palettes r very pretty, I don't use much eyeshadow... ❤️

I think the blue liner looks beautiful on you! What did you say you used normally on your eyebrows? My eyebrows are blonde with no color, what color do you use as well?
I think she typically goes for a taupe shade in most brands because it works well for blondes, but this time she chose brown. Probably because they're an Asian brand and most Asians don't have blonde hair or brows.

I lived in China for a year and am familiar with this brand and have sampled some of the products, and I can tell you with certainty that if anyone is hyping up this brand online it's because they were paid to do so by the company. The products are just okay and you can definitely get better quality for less money elsewhere. Even in China I noticed that most Chinese women seemed to prefer Korean, Japanese, French, or American brands, especially for luxury makeup and skincare.

Florasis has better packaging but Zeesea seems to have better quality. And then there's Kaleidos which is bloody fantastic!
$49 for lipstick that’s crooked? I think I’ll pick up Tom Ford instead (not really, I would rather have 2 Besame’ lipsticks).

There are offbrand versions of it. Its just so pretty I wouldnt use the expensive version tbh... Just no way would I destroy it

You look STUNNING !! Sadly, I really don’t trust anything made in china, especially if it’s sold online. I would buy the makeup just for decoration but would never put it on my face, because you never know what the actual ingredients they use. Even if it’s listed on the package, I wouldn’t trust it. Some viewers were concerned about animal testing, but I would be more concerned there is animal parts in the products : ).

The brand is just expensive for their packagings. They don't have the experience and technology in the makeup industry to make it high-end.
Uh as a Chinese person that has a lot of Chinese makeup products it’s safe to say this isn’t high end
I haven't finished the whole video, but I've got a feeling you pay for the bougie packaging. You are one brave woman for putting questionable products on your face. Once I saw the crooked mascara tube... I would have been done.

Perhaps it would be useful to research a bit about the make up and its history and beauty standards as if you are matching it to USA glam make up it will be irrealistic. Asian culture preferes a fresh dewy natural look and the shadows are easily blurred like water colour. The ingredients are flowers and herbs created from traditional chinese royal recepies. If someone prefers drag quenn make up like look they wont like it, if they prefer natural or elegant and classy they will get that. Also, they are cruelty free, the packaging is light plastic not heavy I would not call it cheap and I seen a lot worse for packaging from high end brands (paper, thin hard breakable plastic). If you refer to childish to the art on the top they are the traditional Dai culture patterns as the company supports minorities as they did with the Miao collection. The eyeshadow palette containes blush (the red one) and highlights as well they are not all eyeshadows! The powder is the most amazing better than Pat McGrath. The lipstick package is made from a traditional chinese lock and the cravings are famous traditional stories.
Beautiful make up, but I can’t use make up that animals are abused or killed for. Please consider using cruelty free make up.

The animals testing laws in China means I am a HARD PASS!
