Reminds me of Uberlingen. Controller P. Nielsen was handling both the Tupolev and the Boeing, both planes crashed because of his ATC error because of him being the only controller on duty. The Tupolev was used to the controller instructing to climb or descend whenever traffic is near by. But the Boeing pilots were already used to the Traffic Collision Avoidance System. So, the controller told the Tupolev pilots to descend, but the Boeing pilots also descended, instructed by TCAS. The cause of the crash in this video was very similar to the Uberlingen event.

8:16 189.66 is WAY out of the range of commercial VHF radios. The highest those can go is 137 MHz. The frequencies are arranged in intervals of .05, so even if you could tune the radio to 189, it would have to be 189.65 or 189.70.

I know I’m late, first of all AMAZING video and very similar to the uberlingen collision. And also For the Korean plane it is another case of pilots fighting to the even though they now there doomed and sometimes saving peoples lives (United Airlines 232) and great fire animation for the Air France plane. my flight crash was tragic the story begins with Aircanada 7720, the atc called aircanada to go to runway 36L aircanada went to 36L, suddenly, the ATC realized theres a plane heading for 7720 while the pilot say "OH GOD" later then, the 2 aircanadians crashed each other, leaving the pilot injured, emergency services were called and the pilot was saved from the collision, the pilot in the other aircanada didnt manage to survive, leaving it dead.

Its the pillts from the Air france flight crew, its blaring out climb, not descend they didnt react the correct way to TCAS
