@@jacobtvobrien9546 i don't think the alt-right understeands irony considering the choice of music wich it's explocitly about the movilization of the masses against opressors, and with masses i mean 'el pueblo'
Thank god for this band having Mackenzie. That melody over such a growly bassline is such a saving grace for this song. Don't get me wrong, I love all that went into this song, but I was afraid of how their future stuff would sound after Andy's departure from the band. For me, she's that final layer that really tops off this band's sound. Much love to her work, as well as the rest of the band
I absolutely cannot wait for the album release. I'm hoping that this great band has a long and great future ahead of it and that this is the year they really make it big.
Brilliant glimpse of what's to come! I really dig this single on the whole, but Mackenzie really owns this track; her playing here is superb. Color me psyched for the new album. Together we rise.
Keep an open mind with this album. Trust me, everything you love about the Flobots is still there. And if you still feel like you're missing something, go give Andy's band a listen: Bop Skizzum. I'm personally a huge fan of both
ya i know but at a live performance of this song about a month back they said the album would be titled stop the apocalypse. so it looks like they changed their minds
I enjoy the constantly evolving sound of the Flobots. Same basic rap-rock-string base, and from there? Who knows what you'll hear, but you're in for a ride.
Superb as always. Can't wait for the new album from the sound of it its going to be high energy on your feet sort of tracks, Something Flobots do brilliantly.
Really missing Andy "Rok" Guerrero on this track. Look forward to hearing more of this album and see if I can get past the lost layer to Flobot's sound.
Yep, the circle in the square represents the circle of protestors in the something something market square in Tunasia, during the beginnging of the Arab spring, that's why he has that line "Yalah, Yalah, Allahu Akbar!" it was a common chant of the (mostly Muslim) protestors "fighting against the power" as you put it.
1) Just because people don't know a song doesn't mean it's good (though in this case they're amazing) 2) Actually loads of people know those songs, the less known songs are stuff like 2012 and 101101010010100
Not sure if you had a simple brainfart or what, but if you haven't heard Platypus you definitely should. My favorites from there are One Love, The Moon and Jetpack.
oh yes ofc Jetpack, Rise, Anne Braden, Mayday, Defend Atlantis etc are just f@#$%ing amazing, but Handlebars has a special place for most of the people. Peace!
Happy Together, Stand Up, Rise, Insomnia, Yellow Raincoat Reborn (technically the last two are just songs that jonny 5 was featured in but he kills both them songs)
I sort of agree. There are better songs (my own favourites are We Are Winning and Rise), but I do still really love Handlebars... Keep meaning to get the other albums too - just too much music to buy though!
Oh yeah lol I think theres only 1 song I dont listen to much by them other then that every album by them are amazing, including onomatopoeia and his 365 ROTD
He sings God is the greatest in arabic. Goodbye, Goodbye in russian. Ego, I, me, myself in greek and The people united shall never be defeated in spanish
One of the most underrated bands around.
I feel like the Flobots' songs are becoming more relevant than ever in recent times, especially in America.
like the stickman beating the shit out of antifa! :D

The Rhythm Method (Move!), and Mayday!!! are AMAZING.
I totally agree with you. I feel the same way for people who only know Rise Against for Savior.
Flobots are the best!

Yes. I've seen them in SLC, UT.
as always, flobots bring it brains behind their beats. can't wait for the new album!
I saw this video in my sub box and I was like meh. Then I saw it was Flobots and I almost flew out of my chair! :D Flobots forever!
Thanks for clearing that up.
Yeah they are gonna have a fall tour this year.
what happened to the original sound of the flobots.... so sad.. will always listen in anticipation of the old sound.
Literally got giddy when I saw a new song from the flobots
¡El pueblo unido, jamás será vencido! Thanks for adding that in there.
Yes! Thank you!!
->Rise.
IKR! when people say they do not know flobots I mention Handelbars and say thats them but thats not even close to what they can do!!!!

Superb as always. Can't wait for the new album from the sound of it its going to be high energy on your feet sort of tracks, Something Flobots do brilliantly.
^Yes, definitely do this. Their EP is ridiculously good
Really missing Andy "Rok" Guerrero on this track. Look forward to hearing more of this album and see if I can get past the lost layer to Flobot's sound.
Great song
I appreciate that the subtitles tried but it's like watching an AI write a book about shapes without ever seeing a shape.
Also will you be touring this album in Britain? I will wait with baited breath
flobots for life
So, good thing we have these guys to show us how to party at the protest...
I'm a big fan of both of their albums.. But I'm not really feelin this song. But real excited for some new Flobots and Muse this year.
this is great, the only good thing to come this august is a new flobots album!
Rage with an anthem twist
I love that piano, epic!
They get better every time :D
Powerful song in all it's aspects, can't wait for the album release! I just got a turntable, any chance of vinyl release with it?

OMG YESSS!! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!! SO AMAZING cant wait for the new album
Do they ever tour?
Good on ya!
Show me one band other than Flobots that is well known, and mains a viola
check out the flobots website, the article titled our forthcoming album
I'm glad you didn't call it Stop the Apocalypse as it seemed too in your face for the Flobots. Circle in the Square sounds much better.
This is still fucking awesome.
Personally, I think all their best stuff is on Onomatopoeia. It's one of my favorite albums by anyone.
Also Onomatopoeia and The Form from the Johnny 5 + Yak Onomatopoeia album, but Present.. Platypus is overall just killer.
Not sure if you had a simple brainfart or what, but if you haven't heard Platypus you definitely should. My favorites from there are One Love, The Moon and Jetpack.
Don't forget Defend Atlantis, I love that one haha, and Stand Up
SEE YOU GUYS IN TAMPA @ PAUL FEST?!?!?!?!
Fucking class! Was worried with the changes in the band, but this is going to fucking rock!
Get ready to be played on repeat...
Why was I not subscribed before?!?!
finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG august 28th you gotta be kidding me! Thats my birthday!!!! This will be the best birthday EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh yes ofc Jetpack, Rise, Anne Braden, Mayday, Defend Atlantis etc are just f@#$%ing amazing, but Handlebars has a special place for most of the people.

the official video got closed by gema... after they themselves uploaded it.... just as handlebars... WHY?!
i need you in dallas
Everyone chill, there's too many good songs to mention.
Happy Together, Stand Up, Rise, Insomnia, Yellow Raincoat Reborn (technically the last two are just songs that jonny 5 was featured in but he kills both them songs)
Dope.
Can't forget The Moon, Airplane mode and Defend Atlantis
Lets just face it, there are very few Flobots songs are bad. Flobots are fucking sick.
the best is songs are iraq and one love because no one knows them and they rock if you do know them you are a real flobots fan
You can have all my likes!!!
Taxes this year are gonna have a little bit more F-L-O-B-O-T-S.
when does the album come out?
Can someone tell me what he's saying at 3:08 ? I'm trying to decipher the lyrics to post them up on the lyric sites. Starts with, "We are the....".
How very interesting synergy...... "The Circle In The Square" (wink, wink) :-)
I sort of agree. There are better songs (my own favourites are We Are Winning and Rise), but I do still really love Handlebars...

I...wait....wow....
Yes. "Allah" translates to "God". Like "Dios" is spanish for God
Sad that many fear that word becomes it comes from an enemy who had killed many people.
Josue Perez shut up you idiot
Dio is also Italian for God.

Anyone have a link to the lyrics?
And Rise of course
Well, thats more just Jonny 5 than actual Flobots. I think him and Yak were the only ones involved in that song.
Yes it is i live in america and most of the countrty is pupits.
No problem.
YES
I didn't like it on first listen, but it grew on me so fast
love the Foster The People reference
"Yalah, yalah Allahu Akbar!" As a Muslim, I approve, keep doing well flobots :p
heavy stuff. with the chorus it almost sounds...nu-metal? I don't care though, I like it. It's good stuff, and it still has a Flobots feel.
if i can join the conversation, yallah = come on not lets go
