Thank you, Ronan, for keeping a few of your brilliant little videos still available to see. With the migrant situation going on, I've been waiting for it to clear up before I head to Ireland again. I'm missing it all terribly, but I'm grateful for the glimpses of these dear people I love so much.
I am lucky enough to live 5 miles from this amazing shop , they are so humble and knowledgeable and if you ask for something on a high shelf , the lovely lady gets out her step ladder and up she climbs. The Place is a real treasure.
Oh my God I wish we had a shop like that near where I live, I love these kind of places, and they are a dying breed, hope they keep on for a long time xxx
This is the first summer in my life that I can’t get home because of the pandemic and discovered these videos last week . Love watching them just for the lovely down to earth , honest people and their conversations . It’s what I miss most about Ireland . Good man Ronan . Go n-éirí an bóthar leat !
I love the Irish, that's why I take my holidays here the people are so friendly in the smaller towns, great crack, you will not get this kind of conversation anywhere else in the world💖💖💖💖
Hi there. I'm struggling a little bit to understand the accent, but you really do amazing videos with stunning content. My compliments. Very authentic and kind people. I love Ireland. Really nice content.
I brought a cottage in the area fabulous place and a great shop and lovely shop assistantsI get my eggs there and they are great for cutting the house keys
These sort of shops are fading in Ireland. There's always one thing you can distinguish these sort of shops from supermarkets is that you can actually interact with someone and get to know them on a personal level. I love these characters and shops. Long may they last. Please shop local!
Hello Ronan. I hope you’re keeping well. I’m getting ready to come over for my annual trip to dear Ireland and Im wondering if this shop is still open? The ROBERT FLYNN store that is. I wanted to add it to my itinerary while I’m there. Thank you so much. I watched and loved all of your UA-cam videos. Sorry that I don’t see any new ones out there. Again, hope you and your loved ones are keeping well ! -Sue,
That was a lovely watch. Not up that direction very often but I'll definitely drop in if I am. It's really hard to find Sunlight soap now and it's way better than the newer stain removers. I've been ordering it online from a South African shop in Mullingar.
A great little Shop. I call them organic shops ie they started with on shop and then take over next shop. Unfortunately most of them in north east London have been killed of by the likes of B&Q. The only shop I n Know like this is in Norfolk.
Holy Moly. What a shop. From Laxatives to goldfish and coffee, probably condoms. and Milk of Magnesia Even a tanned fellow advertising Cadburys chocolate in the middle of it all
Ming’s Ould lad was looking for Rizzlas and Linden Village , Ming was back home for the weekend and ran out he was too whacked to drive down to the shop
God it's odd when someone says they're from ballygar, it seems like some sort of mythical place that no one has ever heard of and exists in its own dimension, or it only exists when I'm back to see my mum.
My Grandfather Patrick F Kelly my Mother father is from here. My cousin Gerry Kelly(son of Michael Kelly the barber)still lives in house my Grandfather was born in and lived in. The nieces and nephews last names are Hanley and Harte.

I've got Irish ancestors, but too far back to be of any help to me. Could someone please tell me - what is a shandy pot?
Small plastic pot to grow small plants/veg from seed. About 4 inches high by three wide roughly.

It's also nice to hear people "claimin' kin" the way the adults talked when I was a kid.
